A musical tribute for Peter, Paul & Mary. The trio performed the soundtrack of the 1960’s generation and beyond. For listeners not familiar with the group, here’s a bit of back story. They exemplified the folk tradition in their grassroots approach to both music and political change ever since their 1961 premier performance at the Bitter End in New York’s Greenwich Village. Their inspiring message of idealism and hope continues to reach generations of fans. Listeners will hear the wonderful harmonies of the trio performing together, as well as a few tracks from their solo careers. There are also a few surprises with friends and tuneful compatriots.
