Jill Stein's State Recount--Status Dec. 8
Although the recount effort caused some angst (including with myself), results are beginning to trickle in from Wisconsin. Efforts are still legally a bit up in the air in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
This is important because it speaks to the integrity of our voting systems.
With approximately one-third of counties in WI having completed their recounts (23 of 72 counties), Trump has increased his lead over Clinton by 146 votes. On average, counties were off by about 6 votes from the actual totals.
All counties in WI will be finished by Dec. 13.
Trump won WI by about 22,000 votes.
So, in Wisconsin at least, it seems there is little evidence of direct election tampering.
(Now, indirect tampering--like dropping thousands of people off the voting rolls before election day--is another story . . .)

I think any action taken with the goal of making our
elections fair and open is worth doing.

Unless of course Stein's plan all along was to "prove" that there is no election tampering

Dems should be happy MI has been halted
The BOEs in Hillary areas around Detroit are claiming that their results are ineligible for recount because, get this, there are more votes than the number of ballots.
Sorry, but isn't that clear evidence of the need FOR a recount?
Obviously, they don't want to recount the Hillary districts because:
1) it will probably end up lowering Hillary's vote totals, and
2) it will show just how corrupt the vote counting is Dem strongholds.
Be careful what you wish for.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
In MI areas that did finish the recount. Trump gained
votes. That news came from an email I received. It wasn't a huge amount (something over a 100) for those areas. The email talked abut the problems in Wayne County (Detroit) and the machines breaking and counting votes twice. As Detroit would have gone for HRC, it is more likely that her numbers are inflated.

Not much of a recount -
in WI only some counties are hand counting, and the MI count has stopped. They go to court tomorrow in PA. Obscure, confuse, and stall until times runs out.
