The Israeli Lobby war on the left-wing goes global

For many, the fake smear of antisemitism used against the left during the college anti-genocide protests was a new thing. What more, the fake antisemitism hysteria that our public schools are infected with bigotry and that we need to censor speech seems a bit insane.

What is actually happening is a meticulously planned and executed script by the far right to destroy real leftists. It's been used before in the United Kingdom to root out and destroy real leftists from the Labour Party and leave it a neoliberal shell. AIPAC's war on progressives are just a crude, blunt force tool.
Over in France we are seeing the latest iteration of a global plan to destroy real leftists in all of the nations of the West. It's more slick and practiced than what AIPAC is doing in the U.S., but it's still the same script that we saw in the U.K. 5 years ago.

In the express campaign, accusations of anti-Semitism against the radical left party La France Insoumise (LFI) are damaging the Nouveau Front Populaire (NFP) alliance formed by LFI, the Socialists, the Greens and the Communists. More than a century after the Dreyfus affair erupted in 1894, during which the left took up the fight against anti-Semitism, its leaders are now on the defensive, forced to justify themselves...
On April 18, at a rally in Lille during the European election campaign, the LFI leader, for example, drew a parallel between the president of the University of Lille and the Nazi Adolf Eichmann. The reference to the man in charge of the logistics of the Nazi regime's Final Solution "trivializes the Holocaust," said the Action Network Against anti-Semitism and All Forms of Racism, a group of left-wing citizens. On June 2, Mélenchon wrote on his blog that "anti-Semitism remains residual in France," downplaying a scourge that has exploded since October 7. A new wave of criticism came.

If that sounds familiar to you, let's recall what happened to Jeremy Corbyn, who was the leader of the Labour opposition just a few years ago.

The human rights watchdog found Labour responsible for "unlawful" harassment and discrimination during Mr Corbyn's four-and-a-half years as leader.
But he later said the scale of anti-Semitism within Labour had been "dramatically overstated" by opponents.
A Labour spokesman said Mr Corbyn was being suspended "for a failure to retract" his words.

It made absolutely no difference that most of the charges against Corbyn have either been proven false, or greatly exaggerated, the only thing Corbyn did wrong was trying to play fair with the neoliberal wing of the Labour Party. The so-called centrists are the real political radicals. They openly admitted that they would rather lose elections to the right than let the left-wing win.

A huge cache of leaked WhatsApp messages and emails show senior officials from the party’s right wing, who worked at its HQ, became despondent as Labour climbed in the polls during the election campaign despite their efforts.

Kind of sounds like the DNC smears of racism and sexism of Bernie Sanders during the 2016 election.
Let's hope that Melenchon in France has learned from Corbyn's mistakes.

our politicians need to learn to fear their constituents more than they fear AIPAC. Simple as that.

I wish that that wasn't true, but evidently it *is*. Our politicians don't respect us in the slightest, and they aren't suddenly going to start respecting us without some major seismic shift in the way this country works. They have thumbed their noses at us, without any consequences, for so long that they utterly take us for granted (looking at you, dems).

They need to fear us. They need to feel the same fear when they see one of us that we feel when we see a cop.

How can that be accomplished? Clearly, the Israelis have cultivated the ability to make each and every one of the bastards shit his or her pants, through threats, kompromat, and whatever else they do- and they have gotten away with it scot-free for decades. We, the people, need to have the ability to achieve the same effect.

I leave the details of that to the people who are angrier than I am.

that stipulated we are somehow controlled by an outside entity
of the people, does not include foreign nations
by the people, were we politely asked if Israel could rule the country?
for the people, I would assume that means us here period.
Somehow the congress got it wrong. $$$ buys obedience.

@QMS

our activist Supreme Court would like to clarify the definition of "treason" to include taking outright graft from foreign entities? They'll never rule that taking bribes is illegal, of course (looking at you, Clarence). But perhaps they could be convinced that utterly selling out in fee simple to a foreign government might actually be criminal in some way...

The payola has been going unchecked for far too long. I'd like to see some wealthy fat-cat lawmakers suddenly become unwealthy (if not hanged). Starting with foreign graft seems to be a possible pain point. At least, it might get their attention.

Oh, well. A guy can dream.

carries as much weight with voters as it did in the UK, France could wake up with NR - Le Pen in power. NR is the home of racist nationalists.

An example of one constituency from the first round of voting:
NR 40%
LFI 33%
EN 17%
all advance to the 2nd round
out: misc right 3% and ecologists 2.5%

EN can only win if all the LFI and ecology voters shift to EN. That's not going to happen. EN voters have but one choice Le Pen or LFI. And two ways to go with Le Pen: directly for NR or indirectly by sticking with a guaranteed loser EN.

...it just keeps putting me in positions I NEVER expected (let alone wanted) to be in.

We'll just have to see how good my own kike-card is now that it might finally be useful for something.
