It is absolutely ok to be hurt and frustrated by the system.
My late husband was a paraplegic, medical conditions were assumed. He was treated for 7 years as a lost cause, because, paraplegic.
It was skin cancer. Not anything to do with his paralysis. Injury. That I pointed out to doctors repeatedly. Tailbone injury. Paraplegics get injuries, so fuck them.
And he made me promise, pinky swear, to just leave it all alone, that a years long trial about the medical malpractice would kill me. He was right. He wanted me to live on. I wanted to get even.
What people are is inserted into categories. You are Aspie? Go there. My husband, wheelchair guy, kidneys will be dead shortly is assumed. Nothing was tested. Wheelchair. Kidneys. Dialysis. Die.
And, that is the way it is.
