While Vermont senator Bernie Sanders has qualified for the debate, only former vice president Joe Biden has reached the threshold to allow surrogates to debate on his behalf.

“Vice President Biden has a prior fundraising engagement at the home of [Lockheed Martin CEO] Marillyn Hewson in Potomac, Maryland that night, so he’ll unfortunately be unable to attend,” said Biden campaign manager Greg Schultz. “But we’re thrilled that Amy Klobuchar, Kamala Harris, and Pete Buttigieg will be able to attend the debate on Joe’s behalf.”

According to the new rules, each surrogate will stand in for the candidate for one segment, and switch between commercial breaks.

The debate, which will take place in Phoenix, AZ and be aired on CNN and Univision, will be broken into three one-hour segments. The first segment will focus on issues of women and people of color, and Kamala Harris will debate Sanders on Biden’s behalf. The second segment, a discussion on health care and rural issues, will feature Klobuchar in place of Biden. The third segment, with Pete Buttigieg standing in for the vice president, will cover the economy, foreign policy, and gay rights.

It goes on to say that if it's a success then ByeDone won't have to face Trump in the general. But never fear Tulsi still won't be allowed in them.

All he will need to do is play videos of the things he said in the past. And what boggles my brain is that Biden has said and done many of the same things that Trump has.

But if the republicans actually do investigate him and Hunter there goes his candidacy. Lots of media wrote about it back when it was happening. And of course there is always tapes.

It will be "discovered" "all of a sudden" that a rapidly-progressive dementing disease has damaged hero-of-the-Empire Joseph Rodent Biden. Therefore the Powers that Be have decided that JoJo, almost on his final comprehensible verbal statement pleads that, although he ByeDone has so rapidly fallen ill, that he wants the DNC to proclaim H. I do not want to tell some taxi driver in Germany I am an American, and have them burst out in laughter and ask, "did you vote for Biden, the demented guy?"

thread in the history of c99 since I joined in the Ides of March, 2016. Joe Biden for President. It's hard to stop laughing. After the following video, a comment will follow attesting to the true post-Biden future of the DNC "contest".

First half of this 10 minute video features JoJo in June, 2019 retorting a Trumpian claim that Joe was "sleepy". Can you imagine that? The second half has some truly beautiful political hypocrisy by the black woman, whose name if forgot, whom I think is a state level elected official, endorses JoJo. She thinks Joe has been a civil rights champion, etc. Now, I like to enjoy politics as well as have it eat at me. So this video, Made in June, 2019 JoJo's speech is so much better than the last month. He is going fast.

This is like Weekend at Bernie's [and I don't mean Bernie]. The DNC has to carry JoJo to the finish line at the convention. Then, moments after he graciously accepts his nomination in words of less than 4 syllables, he has a sudden myocardial infarct--or, maybe brain hemorrhage--or maybe dormant COVID-19.
