Working on my new reality. Volunteers are building a handicapped ramp tomorrow. Attending my first ALS support group meeting Sunday.

We may be going to Washington for the ALS day of action. I wonder if they will let me talk to Rand Paul about ADA? I could help him make an ass of himself.

I am posting a diary at around 6 pm today and though it hasn't many of my own original thoughts, I appreciate a little bit of love in form of a rec.

We submitted President's Day. The Social Security office called the very next day. The ALS diagnosis receives expedited processing. We were told, pending application acceptance, we could expect SSDI to start six months from the last day of work.

The social worker at Duke's ALS Clinic let us know about the expedited processing. The SSDI comes bundled with Medicare, so she will have BCBS and Medicare for ~1 year.

obvious follow up, "why don't the same progressives, liberals, democrats, and left wing people think that Obama is a war criminal for doing similar things?"

duh, 'cuz he's a democrat who has committed deeply deviant war crimes. surely somebody else is to blame.

What they believe is that Bush, Cheney and company LIED to get their war.

today. It's just excerpting of an article that covers a subject that OPOL had posted a diary yesterday on and is sort of a way to use it as to explain why I am not in agreement with his vision. You know I am not a diary writer. But I couldn't help to this one.

Donna Shalala, a former Clinton administration cabinet secretary, will take over as head of the Clinton Foundation at a moment when the charity's fundraising practices have created political turbulence for Hillary Clinton's emerging presidential campaign, two people familiar with the matter said Friday.

Ms. Shalala, 74, had announced in September that she would step down as president of the University of Miami, a position she had held for 14 years. After leaving the university later this year she will move to New York to become chief executive officer of what is now officially called the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation, one person familiar with her plans said.

After she presided over one of the most corrupt sports porgrams at Miami... I have no faith.
