Economics

During the 1950s and 1960s I learned now money is created. During the 1970s and 1980s I came to understand how easy it is to manipulate our economy to amass a fortune while really making life miserable for others. Full disclosure: Our present day economic situation is the fault of people with my knowledge, understanding, and skill set creating wealth inequality of epic proportions.

The question is: Should we accept the "go with the flow" "business as usual" approach and elect the usual "lesser of the worst" Presidential Candidate? Or, should we put someone in charge that wants to affect real change? I tend to default to including people like Stephanie Kelton on the team, for obvious reasons.

The real problem: Now do we reach voters that cannot get past the "tax and spend" nostrum so popular with the Republicans and a growing number of "mainstream" Democrats? Talking straight economics is tedious, and so very marginal at best. I don't even like economics, I only understand it from a grifter come elementary particle physicist's point of view.

How do we articulate the foundation of the needed changes? Or, do we just ignore the foundation and hope for the best?

and the continuation of the status-quo is what awaits us under Clinton. Therefore, no, I don't see a solution in the immediate future, which probably explains my fabulous mood lately... gotta keep fighting though. How do we go about it? At this point, I'm not entirely sure.

Progressive to the bone.

It's only tedious when it is made intentionally over-complicated, when the terminology is used to confuse the topic rather than shed light on it, and when the choices given (as opposed to the choices available) make no real difference.

Which unfortunately is the current state of the debate.

How do we articulate this, and get the word out. ASAP

Wow. I wish I knew more than I do.

I'm a quarter of the way into your links' video though, so maybe we could talk later, after I have a chance to learn a bit more.

Maybe this evening?
