Clinton Whistleblower's Home Raided by FBI

According to the article Sessions appointed Huber to investigate the FBI's investigation into Hillary's private email server and the Uranium One deal. Huber released a unclassified report on the private email server which has been discussed here, but I wasn't aware that he was also looking into the Uranium One deal.

FBI raids home of whistleblower who had ‘dirt’ on Clinton Foundation, Mueller

More than a dozen FBI agents searched for six hours the house of a contractor who had given Congress and the DOJ documents about the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One scandal, implicating then-FBI director Robert Mueller.
Sixteen agents showed up at the Maryland home of Dennis Nathan Cain on November 19, the Daily Caller reported this week, citing Cain’s attorney Michael Socarras. They demanded to see the documents Cain had already turned over to the Department of Justice inspector-general and the House and Senate intelligence committee.

“I cannot believe the Bureau informed the federal magistrate who approved the search warrant that they wanted to search the home of an FBI whistleblower to seize the information that he confidentially disclosed to the IG and Congress,” said Socarras. He also objected to the fact that the FBI at no point reached out to him, even though Cain provided the agents with his contact information, calling that “serious misconduct.”

The search warrant, signed by federal magistrate Stephanie A. Gallagher in the US District Court for Baltimore, said that Cain possessed “stolen federal property.”

Cain informed the agents that he was a federally protected whistleblower, but gave them the documents at their insistence, Socarras said. Even so, they searched his house for hours afterward.

What were the agents looking for? According to the Daily Caller, they were after the document suggesting that Robert Mueller – now special counsel in charge of the “Russiagate” probe targeting President Donald Trump, but FBI director back in 2001-2013 – failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct in the case of Uranium One.

Since then, multiple whistleblowers have revealed claims of misconduct, bribery and fraud on part of the people involved in the sale, even suggesting a “pay for play” scheme in which the Clinton Foundation received millions of dollars in donations in exchange for greenlighting the deal. Republicans have also pointed to Bill Clinton’s $500,000 fee for a speech in Moscow in 2010 as evidence the Clintons were peddling influence for Russian money.

I have articles about the Uranium One deal that happened during Obama's tenure when the Clinton's foundation received $145 million from Russia and Bill was paid $500,000 to give a speech to whom I don't recall.

Congress is investigating the foundation as are the FBI and they raided the home offices of it in Mena, OK earlier this year. I'll update this essay with the information when I locate it.

I looked to see what other websites are covering this and besides RT it looks like just right wing sites are covering it.

FBI Raids Home Of New Clinton Foundation, Uranium One Whistleblower

The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One, a document reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation alleges.

The delivered documents also show that then-FBI Director Robert Mueller failed to investigate allegations of criminal misconduct pertaining to Rosatom and to other Russian government entities attached to Uranium One, the document reviewed by TheDCNF alleges. Mueller is now the special counsel investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election. -Daily Caller

"The bureau raided my client to seize what he legally gave Congress about the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One," said the whistleblower's lawyer, Michael Socarras - adding that he considered the FBI raid on his client, Dennis Nathan Cain, an "outrageous disregard" of whistleblower protections.

Cain told the agents at his doorstop that he was a recognized and protected whistleblower under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act, and that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz had recognized his status, according to Cain's attorney.

Cain further told the FBI agent the potentially damaging classified information had been properly transmitted to the Senate and House Intelligence committees as permitted under the act, Socarras said. The agent immediately directed his agents to begin a sweep of the suburban home, anyway.

Frightened and intimidated, Cain promptly handed over the documents, Socarras told TheDCNF. Yet even after surrendering the information to the FBI, the agents continued to rummage through the home for six hours.

"After asking and getting my approval to do so, DOJ IG Michael Horowitz had a member of his staff physically take Mr. Cain’s classified document disclosure to the House and Senate Intelligence committees," Socarras told the Caller, adding "For the bureau to show up at Mr. Cain’s home suggesting that those same documents are stolen federal property, and then proceed to seize copies of the same documents after being told at the house door that he is a legally protected whistleblower who gave them to Congress, is an outrageous disregard of the law."

I agree that this seems to be very inappropriate for the FBI to take this action and I wonder what it means for Cain. Is Trump going to pick up where Obama left off and go after whistleblowers? And is he doing this to protect the Clintons?

Why did the FBI take documents that the DOJ already has? Answer, to disappear them. They were protecting Mueller. Trump is not protecting Clinton, the FBI is protecting Mueller. Trump does not control the FBI, Clinton does.
A while ago I made a joke that Hillary planned to ride into Washington in a sedan chair carried by generals and declare a 4th Reich. That was not a joke. She (or some other "Democrat") plans to make it look like justice and it will be the FBI rather than "generals".
Don't be surprised if people start getting assassinated.

Lots of links to other articles that show that Robert Mueller isn't a hero in any sense of the word which many people say he is only because he's going after Trump. Mueller is just another two bit thug and war criminal who should be enjoying prison life with many of his cohorts.

I would say they are disappearing documents to protect Mueller.

Now that Ivanka and Hillary have private emails in common, that brouhaha will probably die. The Iranium deal was always the big steal that justice was too willfully blind to see. No one is going to see it now either.

@dkmich email situations aren't remotely comparable.

HRC lied about her emails, had a hidden non-official server, refused to turn over the emails when originally asked for them, disappeared emails, and scrubbed/destroyed some physical items (I think a phone and a hard drive).

Ivanka did none of this.

Since it sounds an awful lot like an internal chicken shit move to keep Mueller out of the boiling water he deserves to be in, I went to where Q supposedly posts to see if s/he/they had anything to say about it.

If anything is there, I didn't find it, or didn't understand it. It's mostly coded gobbledygook, to me. Last post was from Nov 9th, so unless a clue to an upcoming raid was posted in the coded language, I see nothing about it.

There is a second whistle blower from inside the Clinton Foundation that has made contact with US Attorney Huber who is conducting an investigation into the Clinton Foundation. This investigation has been supposedly going on since late last year.

I first saw this on George Webb's twitter feed.

I was pissed that his name had been outted, but apparently George got his information from the Daily Caller.

I have tried to track this down further and cannot find anything.

I saw this on the qmap yesterday and apparently Hannity talked to someone who had knowledge about how there is a second whistleblower coming forward Monday.

The investigation into their foundation has been kept under wraps. I haven't seen much since the raid on their foundation a few months ago.

I agree with others here who said this is about protecting Mueller by removing all material related to his actions. But unless congress allows them to take the information they have it can still go forward.

@snoopydawg Sara Carter and John Solomon who said there was a second whistle blower but did not name the name. I think that was purposely planted to set things up.

What was not on purpose was the leak of the name. If it is indeed Justin Cooper, this is BIG, very big because Cooper was been with both the Clintons for a long time and was involved with Hillary's server.

Apparently something is supposed to come out on Monday about this. I am not holding my breath, but it is worth noting.

For the record, I have avoided citing Q and will continue to do so unless something substantive comes out.

Edit to add: A lot of people are trying to protect their own skins. Mueller is one who has a lot of dirt on his hands. He was the "mule" in Uranium 1. It will be interesting to see if he goes down.

a computer right? If this is who he is then this is a huge deal if he flipped.

I'm waiting for Huber to do something about how the FBI screwed up their investigation into Hillary's private email server. He questioned why Comey gave Mills , Abedin and others immunity and then he didn't ask them any questions.

The other investigation that is still happening is into Hillary's pay for play. Weapons sales went up 143% during her tenure to countries that she knew were committing human rights abuses and war crimes. But that's not new is it?

@snoopydawg Justin Cooper was not who asked about deleting information from the server. It was Paul Combetta, an employee with Platte River Networks.

But, Justin Cooper is about as inside as they come with both Bill and Hillary Clinton and has been referred to Bill Clinton's "body man" during Clinton's post Presidential years. He has worked with both Clintons over the years including work with the Clinton Foundation and other related groups.

If indeed it is Justin Cooper who is cooperating with Huber, this is a very big deal.

@Amanda Matthews So I am not getting my hopes up too much yet. But if true, it may be that he saw where things were heading and is hoping to save his own skin. Based upon this rumor, this person was characterized as a whistle blower, which would mean to me, he approached the US attorney's office, not vice versa.

I really do not want to create a false hope here. Time will tell.
