Can you spot the hidden pattern?

Let's play a game.
I'm going to show you a series of headlines from just the past year, and you try to spot the pattern.
Understand that no one in America's MSM or political establishment can see any emerging pattern from these headlines. In fact, most Americans don't see a pattern either.
So if you can spot the deeply hidden pattern here then you are far more wise and perceptive than most Americans.

Still can't see it?
Don't feel bad. Most Americans are unable to see the pattern.
Here's one more that might help.

Good information here. Thanks for the links. Had a conversation the other day about the history of US interventions in other countries, supporting puppet leaders, and then asset stripping their countries. You know what response I got? A defiant flag waving "The U.S. Does a lot good around the world".

That PR propaganda machine the media pumps out sure is effective, eh?

@Anja Geitz
is how so many people based their assumptions about the world on a version of history that doesn't reflect the facts.

For conservatives, this usually means ignoring (or more likely, being ignorant) America's countless crimes and evil deeds.
The same goes for their lack of knowledge about the history of capitalism.
They will often just shut down if you try to bring up facts.

For liberals, this usually means ignoring, being ignorant, or just dismissing how class factors into social tensions and progress. Because blaming racism and sexism is so much easier.

It's not a war crime if the US does it. Because the US was ordained by Jesus to be the most exceptional, bestest, super ethicalist shining beacon on the hill that sets the gold standard on behavior for the rest of the world. U Betcha!!

@edg https://time.com/5610116/navy-seal-edward-gallagher-isis-murder-trial/

While acknowledging that Gallagher had stabbed the teen, Special Operator Corey Scott testified during the trial that he was the one who killed the teen himself by deliberately blocking the young man’s breathing tubes, which he said asphyxiated the boy. Scott described this as a mercy killing, and argued he felt the teen would have been tortured when detained by Iraqi police due to his ties to ISIS. Scott, who said he does not want to see Gallagher jailed, was reportedly granted immunity as a witness for the prosecution, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

U.S. officials also acknowledged there had been dozens of similar experiments in the United States — studies that often involved making healthy people sick.

An exhaustive review by The Associated Press of medical journal reports and decades-old press clippings found more than 40 such studies. At best, these were a search for lifesaving treatments; at worst, some amounted to curiosity-satisfying experiments that hurt people but provided no useful results.

they have a lot on their minds. Also, the pattern(s) are much easier to see when the headlines are collected in one place, as you have done, rather than being spread out. For those reasons, the patterns are the kind of things our (gag) "watchdog media" should be exposing.

@HenryAWallace are blogs and forums like this. The corporatists long ago dumped journalism in favor of propaganda. It's no accident that most universities teach journalism and advertising in the same department.

It is important to ask ourselves what Julian Assange’s real crime is. In an era, dubbed the "Information Age", where the strategy of the powerful appears to be to know as much as possible about the rest of us while ensuring that we know as little as possible about them and how they operate, Assange worked to prevent that imbalance from becoming a rout and stuck like a bone in the throat of the mighty.

Assange helped put Trump in office and cost Herheinous the election so it's okay that Trump is going after him don't you know? Even though he hasn't been charged with anything related to the election interference crap. But when Trump cracks down on other journalists he's a bad man. Or so I'm told.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

Starting with the WWII fire bombing of cities in Europe and Japan and the use of two nuclear bombs on civilian populations the US has continuously been guilty of major war crimes. After WWII the UN charter allowed that only self defense in the case of an imminent military threat or a UNSC resolution could justify war. Whose army has been directly threatening our shores? With the exception of Korea which war was legal? And even there the collective punishment of the population of North Korea, 20% dead and total destruction of infrastructure, was a war crime. The people in the US government are totally incapable of considering that us military action might be a war crime. When the US is not dominant this will come back to bite us in the ass, big time. The world will realize that the US is incapable of moral leadership.

Just about the first thing the Jamestown colonists did was to piss off the Powhatan Confederacy, which resulted in extended periods of overt and covert warfare and at least one act of blatant genocide (inviting the Powhatans to a parley and poisoning the wine they were given). (This was in 1623, in retaliation for the 1622 massacre of colonists by the Powhatans and allies.)
