Blackrock: Move along. There's nothing to see here.

It's just a coincidence that when the credit markets froze up last September, the Federal Reserve had a financial bailout plan already on-hand that was designed to address this exact scenario. That plan was presented to the Fed by BlackRock just one month earlier.

It's just a coincidence that Jerome Powell, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, who happens to possess holdings in BlackRock of $11.6 million, also decided to give Blackrock a no-bid contract to handle $454 billion of taxpayers’ money to be used as “loss absorbing capital” to fund a $4.54 trillion leveraged bailout fund for Wall Street.

It's just a coincidence that BlackRock, on behalf of the Fed, “bought $1.58 billion in investment-grade and high-yield ETFs from May 12 to May 19, with BlackRock’s iShares funds representing 48 percent of the $1.307 billion market value at the end of that period." No bid contracts to buy up your own products, with the taxpayer to take any losses, and absolutely no oversight of any kind.

It's just a coincidence that BlackRock is “the second- or third-largest owner of stock in Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Procter & Gamble, and among the top five in nearly every large U.S. company,” while managing over $7 Trillion in assets. Yet regulators have NOT designated Blackrock a global systemically important financial institution.

It's just a coincidence that donors and allies of Joe Biden are pushing him to pick BlackRock chief Larry Fink as Secretary of the Treasury.

It's just a coincidence that Stanley Fischer was a Governor and Vice Chairman on the U.S. Federal Reserve Board as recently as 2017, and joined BlackRock as a Senior Advisor in January 2019.

It's just a coincidence that Blackrock has a long history of engaging in conflicts of interests.

How do you kill a corporation? I mean, the board of directors all have names and addresses, but for some reason that's not an acceptable line of inquiry.

Also, is EITHER major candidate significantly less in its pocket than the other?
