"Billions" in New War and Imperialism Spending but No Money for Border Wall. The Joke's on Us
Late night quickie. I haven't had a chance to analyze what they're doing, this is a summary taken from a CNN article that came up. Here's what the article describes as what's in and what's out. Notice how it's mostly small change with a rather innocuous "billions for new defense spending, including the global war on terrorism".
The GWOT, the global war OF terrorism. The neverending war OF terrorism, the forever war. More billions for the forever war. That would indicate the forever war is going to need forever billions. Forever billions. Take that you right wing idiots, liberty loving chickenshits who want forever billions to protect your weak asses from brown people, just like your ancestors you poor excuses for life. Disgusting. Embarrassing.
As for the democrats, they'll be celebrating how they stopped funding for the wall. What a joke, it was always a joke. Now the joke's on us. The imperialist democratic party played right along and now the imperialist military machine and the military/intelligence/security/law enforcement industrial complex will renew it's assault on the world and whatever freedom we have left.

Excellent article about how the government propaganda has ended American people's critical thinking skills.
It seems that they gave them up as easily as they did their liberties and thinking that because our military is going to country after country that they are going to keep us safe from the terrorists when it's the opposite. They certainly don't hate us because of our freedoms, they hate us for what we have done to their countries.
Also removing our liberties, especially our 1st and 4th amendment rights isn't going to keep us safe either. It's going to allow our government to continue to repress us and if enough people finally wake the hell up, they will have many ways to defend against that.

The border wall would be devasting to wildlife.
Wildlife don't see international boundaries, they only know survival. The ecosystem along the border is mostly dry desert and prairie land which evolved over thousands of years. Animal migration routes and hunting territories would be devastated if that wall is built. Mexican gray wolves are one example of a species that is only beginning to recover and needs to migrate to follow it's prey. A wall could spell it's extinction.
Here's a radical idea: How about making the countries all the immigrants are coming from less horrible to live? We currently give Israel and Egypt billions every year not to go to war. They would be fine without our tax dollars. Take that aid and attention and make Honduras and El Salvador safer and more affluent so people don't feel the need to risk life and limb to travel thousands of miles to pick your tomatoes.

A coupla points.
First, if the grey wolf couldn't cross the border, their prey couldn't either. They'd evolve new migration paths.
Second, Honduras and El Salvador don't necessarily need more money. They need the US to stop f-in around with their governments and their people. Remember Hillary's Honduras coup? Remember what Reagan did to El Salvador?

China has already spent more in 10 months improving their infrastructure than the US will spend in the next 10 years under Trump's proposed one trillion dollar "Make America Great Again". Unfortunately, he's already blown more than half of this year's funding on the $60 billion increase to America's
defenseoffense industry. Guess we'll just have to postpone it (again).Maybe the US can hire Chinese companies to build/repair highways, dams, bridges and high speed rail? They are also currently financing and building $1.3 trillion worth of infrastructure projects in 30 nations all over Asia and Africa as part of their One Belt One Road Initiative.
They cut $2.6 billion from the food stamps program
Those f'cking assholes who don't give a rat's ass if people including children starve in this country or in Yemen because of the f'cking military budget and they don't care how many children they kill from their bombs or our allies bombs.
I'm on the food stamps program and believe me, the money doesn't cover a months worth of food unless I buy crappy food that isn't nutritional.
They can't wait until us poor or disabled people die off so we quit wasting their resources.
