Is any accusation about Trump/Russia even slightly true?
The downside of complete media corruption is that you (as a non-elite, average person) realize that you cannot evaluate the truth of reporting about anything that happens inside "the bubble". Cases in point, the serial implosion of the bona fides of people charged with helping Trump "collude" with Russia.
1) Carter Page
C99p readers are long familiar with the fact that Carter Page, an early attempt at linking T to R was really an FBI plant:
It Gets Worse: Carter Page Was An Undercover Asset For The FBI
2) Christopher Steele (of dirty dossier fame) (apologies for the ZH link)
It is Manafort’s relationship with Deripaska that happens to underlie most of the allegations made in the standard “Russiagate” narrative that Manafort was a secret agent advancing Putin’s interests inside the Trump campaign. At the same time, Oleg has been cast by the western media as simply an agent of Putin...Now, it comes out, that Steele was working not only for the DNC and with Clinton Campaign funds, but was also shared a DC lawyer and possibly doing business with Deripaska.
Christopher Steele's lawyer is Oleg Deripaska's lobbyist and employee
(this was submitted to C99p by leveymg.)
3) Felix Sater (this is new to me)
Felix Sater, the man at the center of a controversial email "tying" President Trump to Russia while trying to work a business deal...In effect, Sater - at least according to BuzzFeed, is more or less a rockstar opportunist spy with a shady past, who redeemed himself as an asset for the CIA, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the FBI. During the course of his work for the agencies, all unpaid...
Sater has been summoned to discuss his affairs with congressional investigators - and is scheduled to speak with the Senate Intelligence Committee in April. Moreover, he's been questioned by Mueller's team - "several of whom he knows from his past undercover work." Of note, Mueller was the FBI director for most of the time Sater was providing undercover information.
The U.S. attorney who oversaw Sater's pump-and-dump scheme was none other than Loretta Lynch - President Obama's Attorney General. During Lynch's confirmation, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) asked her about Sater's fraud case, to which she replied:
“The defendant in question, Felix Sater, provided valuable and sensitive information to the government during the course of his cooperation, which began in or about December 1998.
Man Cited As Trump's "Russian Link" Actually Works For The FBI
That's two FBI agents and one corrupt crony of a Russian oligarch. You have to be a low grade moron, or a typical brainwashed Demo-bot, to not immediately question the endless stream of bullshit emanating from the corporate media about Russian "meddling" or "collusion".
This whole narrative drives me crazy, because I hate that corrupt idiot, Trump; but I hate even more the absolutely illegal and dangerous propaganda ops directed against him by our corrupt Deep State. The amount of energy required to explain this kind of double-agent bullshit is very large, and most people just tune out long before you can explain it.
Because I have lived a long time and witnessed immense amounts of Deep State lying and provocation, I am pretty immune to being gaslighted about Russia. But, I do confess to getting exhausted from digging myself out from under the stream of crap under which TPTB are trying to bury the few critical thinkers left. Anyone else just dizzy from all the lies and spin?

That's why I said it is tiring to explain the multi-level lies and one-sided reports.
The lie is so easy to tell. The truth takes so much more effort to explain. These lying bastards are very good at their job.
Mueller Is Top of The Class
You got this right:
Still processing here, but Mueller is nobody's fool. He graduated from Princeton was on the Law Review at Virginia Law School. He had a stellar legal career and in between the FBI and getting appointed special counsel:
Alrighty then! Mueller is a Republican. Is he more of a Movement Conservative or a traditional Rock-ribbed Republican? That goes to whether Mueller has a political goal or a law and order goal. Or some combination there of.
Another possibility is that Mueller was dumped in the middle of a political/financial/espionage shit storm and has just been trying to figure out WTF is really going on himself.
After 10 years as Director of the FBI, Mueller clearly understands the Deep State and D.C. levers of power as well as anyone alive. How much is Mueller in control and how much is he being controlled?
"They'll say we're disturbing the peace, but there is no peace. What really bothers them is that we are disturbing the war." Howard Zinn
Mueller didn't get the job by accident
He is a Deep State insider of long standing, not some fall guy. As with all Deep Staters, he is playing a role in a drama written by the DS steering committee. At this point, the role is to keep the neo-McCarthyism at full boil. Any honest special counsel would have quit after 18 months and no charges that are anywhere near related to the stated purpose of the investigation. Instead, Mueller keeps the fishing expedition going, like with this Sater clown - who sounds about as credible as the infamous Curveball.
Mueller is not a victim; he is not clueless. He is an integral part of the Hillary/CIA assault on Trump and on what little is left of our democracy. The Dems rightfully decried Ken Starr's fishing expedition; but 20 years later, they are running their own.
Absolutely! Mueller’s as pure as the driven
slush.
He was put where he is to investigate all that collusion documented in the Clinton Dossier. He knows it’s bullshit. He knows who paid for it. He knows the timeline. And he knows ALL the players.
He was also involved in a lot of really shady bullshit in the past himself. He knows the ropes. He’s even included in the cast of players in the Uranium One drama.
He knows there’s nothing to this RUSSIA! bull puckey. He also knows that sooner or later there is going to be another investigation. And that one will be taking a look into the players in all this. The cia, fbi, doj, the whole crew involved in the shenanigans of The Empty Suit’s administration, along with the DNC, and TCC herself. And I bet Mueller’s NOT going to be running that one.
I think that’s part of why he’s been dragging his feet. All he’s accomplished in the year-long snipe hunt is he’s indicted 13 Russians on charges of (**drum roll**)
What is that nonsense? Who came up with that? How they gonna carry through on this? And what’s the penalty, last meal, cigarette (optional), and a blindfold?
What a farce. What a huge expense to the taxoayers. And all the while the real scammers and fraudster, TCC, says all they were doing was collecting ‘opposition research’.

Actually, Amanda. There is a possibility of an investigation
into the Clinton foundation and if they follow the yellow brick road that's going to be very interesting. There are so many people and governments caught up in their bogus foundation that if there is a real investigation into it, it would bring down people in congress, other government agencies and people in other countries. And apparently this has been happening for some time.
As to the charges that Mueller brought against the ham sandwiches, how the Hell can a foreign advertising company be guilty of this:
No they didn't do any of those things. The advertising had nothing to do with the election, it was advertising directed mostly at Russians who live in this country. And they were placed AFTER THE ELECTION!
Geebus! The people who are buying this are intellectually challenged.
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
This fraud investigation should have ended when the
13 ham sandwiches were indicted. After 18-24 months of Russia Russia Russia, all Mueller has to show is that. Sure Flynn and Gates have been charged with not registering as foreign lobbyists, but they did not help Trump collude with Putin to win the election. Everything else that has been added to his investigation is monkey poo. But as you stated, "the role is to keep the neo-McCarthyism at full boil."
The PTB want a war with Russia or Iran or China and they are not going to give up shoveling more monkey poo propaganda because people have bought this hook line and sinker. This is sad.

Just like it wouldn't have been uncharacteristic of Trump to have had an affair with Stormy Daniels. And then there's the whole issue of money laundering and Russian mob and Trump Tower. On SNL's cold-open last weekend (paraphrasing), Kate McKinnon's Robert Mueller confronted Cecily Strong as the Bachelorette to say that he most likely could not deliver a collusion charge. Strong (probably the biggest Clintonite on a show that's full of them) fought back the tears, saying, "I've been waiting for this for a year! So what... he's just going to be President for two more years?!?"

Don't forget that the co-founder of CrowdStrike
...was the long term head of the FBI's Cybersecurity Division.
The other co-founder is a Fellow at the Atlantic Council, where he war-mongers with all the other Nazi-schooled anti-Russians. Plus, he's a Uranian immigrant who is violently anti-Putin. When CrowdStrike announced the DNC hack by Russia, he also lied and said Russia hacked Ukraine military weapons. That tie-in, he had to publicly retract because the Ukraine military flatly denied it. It caused a lot of trouble for prominent UK think tank. He's been busted for that with some frequency.
Crowdstrike does a fair amount of classified work for the spy agencies.
There is no evidence of a hack at the DNC. There's a ton of forensics and evidence showing no hack. Besides, Julian Assange got the files hand-delivered by a British ambassador in the foreign service. A decision was made not to send them electronically from the US.
The FBI has been dirty since that ...
mob-blackmailed transvestite, Hoover, started it.
They are a bunch of nasty lawyers. Their crime lab has lately become a joke. (Remember the anthrax investigation fiasco?)
Given what I have said about the Ukrainian/CIA connection, I am not surprised that the FBI is also infested with neo-Nazi Ukies.
Craig Murray gave the DNC files to Assange
Murray has stated this numerous times and Assange has said that the files were not hacked. Congressman Ro ... someone met with Assange about this and he was convinced that Assange was telling the truth when he said that he did not get the files from Russia Russia Russia! Almost everything has been debunked many times and two journalists have been fired because of false reporting on stories. That this still hasn't died shows the power of propaganda.

No
None of these claims are true. None of these claims even pass the smell test. What they do pass is that they eminate from single thread starting from Clinton's tactic to "get Trump" from his statement about getting along with Russia. These claims also come from the prejudicial idea that he/Russia must be doing these things. It really boils down to psychological projection. He/Russia must be doing these things because we do them. Consider especially Clinton's corrupt dealings with Uranium One, and payments to the
Clinton Foundation and her partner in crime. Wow! She did it, so he must be doing it.
There is going to be a limit to these false accusations and I think that Russia and President Putin are there. He is going to demand hard proof to these accusations or there is going to be hell to pay. The US thinks that it lives in an insulating hedgemonic bubble. Bull, all modern nations are interdependent and the US has had no idea of how much Russia has given it a pass in the past .
Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.
I'd like to believe that, but...
What can Putin do (to make it hell to pay) that does not play into the narrative that he is a nasty character intent on screwing with the US?
There are an infinite number of options
I'll just give you one example. Turkey wants to buy Russian S400 air defense systems. NATO is having a bird. These systems are incompatible with NATO systems, they are technically superior, and most importantly they will ignore the friend-or-foe signals from NATO aircraft and will shoot them out of the sky. Turkey wants them right away, for obvious reasons. Russia has promised first deliveries next year and all in 2020. Russia has sufficient inventory so that they could deliver a few of them within 24 hours inside of Antonov An225 heavy lift carriers. I don't see how this can be construed to paint President Putin as a "thug".
Here's the point. The US has no idea of how deferential Russia has been in hopes of a good partnership. We are about to find out.
Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.
I get your point.
Essentially, we've been having a one-sided Cold War. The Russians have finally been pushed to their limit; so we are about to have a two-sided Cold War, complete with military provocations and false flag terror.
I think the Doomsday Clock needs a tenths-of-a-second hand.

Putin giving North Korea advanced missle technology. Advanced targeting software. Access to Russian GPS systems.

Good thing he is the grownup on the playground.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
People call Putin a KGB thug and say that Russia is
full of corrupt oligarchs and its economy is in the gutter and many other talking points. Putin has cleaned up the country, its economy is certainly much better than ours and a lot of the oligarchs are in prison.
Russia Gate has worked so well that people are making stuff up that never happened. I can't wait for the truth to come out so I can watch people's heads explode. One day that is going to happen. This will be just like the end of Joe McCarthy.
Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?
Intellectually Challenged
is what I call people who are believing Russia Gate. These people are the ones who not so long ago questioned everything that the intelligence agencies told them, but no longer. We know that Clapper lied to congress about whether the CIA was spying on us and today is his 5 year anniversary of getting away with it. Remember when Comey was hated because he reopened the email investigation? Then Trump fired him and now people believe in him again. Which is it? Comey cost Her the presidency or Comey was fired because he knew stuff about Trump?
This has gotten so far out of hand that it has infected many mediums. TV shows are talking about fake news or Russian hacking and other Russiaphobias. Every damn thing that happens is now blamed on Russia. Even things that happened before the election are now being blamed on them.
The Russian spy who was recently poisoned must have pissed Putin off because he tried to kill him with The Most Deadly nerve agent in the world. It's so powerful that one drop will kill people. That's how deadly it is. Oh wait. He isn't dead. Hmm, must have been just a half a drop given to him. Or was it Fentanyl? Well, who knows, but the bottom line is Russia tried to kill him 8 years after he was released from a Russian prison. Vengeance is best served cold, right?
McMaster has said that there is no evidence that Russia used sarin gas on Syrians, but he is going to make sure that they don't use it again.
Look for more false flag events coming up soon in Syria or maybe Lebanon or hell, anywhere that will be blamed on Russia Russia Russia Russia. Gack!

Mueller is the ultimate Insider.
Since Mueller was FBI director from September 4, 2001 – September 4, 2013, he was obviously involved in the formulation of the federal government's official story on 911. Then stayed on for another 12 years after that (probably to make sure a 'proper' replacement could be found).
Mueller is the ultimate Deep Stater for sure.
But instead of the "Deep State" narrative, maybe we should start using the uncontroversial "Insider" narrative. They both mean basically the same thing, yet there is no controversy or disagreement about the existence of "insiders" who often serve masters other than the public at large.
Mike Taylor
I take your point, but...
I think "insiders" has the connotation of ordinary, run of the mill corruption. It implies that if the public just tried harder, it could clean up the corruption. OTOH, calling it the Deep State is daring to say that the US is no longer a democracy, not even a corrupt one. It is an authoritarian society run by a totally unaccountable elite.
Remember the context:

There is another dimension to the investigation.
A number of the people Mueller has hired are experts in the investigation of financial fraud. In the Yeltsin years and early Putin years Russian oligarchs laundered a vast amount of money through the US. The two primary paths were real estate and casinos.
During part of this period Trump's finances were in bad shape. There were loans he could not pay. Western banks wouldn't lend him a plugged nickel. He got through somehow. Did he establish a mutually beneficial relationship with Russian oligarchs? I don't know. Do you?
It has been unspoken that Trump is Russian mobbed-up
Anytime they really want to get rid of him, he has done so many shady deals that he is toast.
But they don't want to get rid of him until he has done all the neocon stuff, for which he will then be made the fall guy. Does anybody believe Trump has a clue what he is doing? He just wings it based on the worldview that gets filtered through the Deep State advisors he is surrounded by.
Hillary was ready to attack Russia in Syria from day one. TPTB have lost one year turning Trump from having a sane policy vis-a-vis Russia to having the same insane warmongering policy that Hillary had.
One can only hope that the intervening year, which saw the defeat of ISIS in Syria and the solidification of the Russian economy, despite sanctions, gave the Russians enough time to get ready for the inevitable US attacks. One also wonders why the Chinese are sooooooo quiet. What are they going to do when the US attacks Syria, or Iran, or has the Ukies attack Donbass? If the Chinese and the Russians don't hang together, the US will hang them separately.
