Washington (CNN)Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine says he and Hillary Clinton "aren't against trade."

Both Clinton and Kaine had previously supported the Trans-Pacific Partnership -- a 12-nation trade pact negotiated by President Barack Obama's administration -- but announced their opposition once the deal was finalized, in the heat of the 2016 campaign.

"You never close the door if you can get a deal that's going to be good for American workers and our economy," the Virginia senator said. "We aren't against trade."

"We want to find export markets for American businesses because they'll be able to add workers the more they export," he said. "That's very important. And whether it's in Asia or in Europe, if we can find deals that meet those goals, more jobs, higher wages, and good for natural security, and good enforcement provisions, we're open to them."

Kaine said if he is still in the Senate during a post-election lame duck session, he would oppose the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

This guy has a great talent for speaking out of both sides of his face. I remember before the Clinton creature announced her pick for VP this guy was considered too far to the 'right', too supportive for big biz and Wall Street. Now he's the Opportunist Party's darling.

He says he'd oppose the TPP in a lame duck session? I think that the guy will have some 'miraculous' epiphany and he will receive a message from TPTB and it will be made known to him what a wonderful thing this trade agreement that the Shillary helped put together is.

The betrayals start now. I wonder if the Shillarites will have the ability to recognize when they've been had or will they just make excuses as to why it's oh so good for America, the American worker, and the whole wide world?

I'll summarize what the CEPR says regarding TPP: It's not a trade deal because the USA already has trade agreements with the majority of the countries involved and only 22 of the 24(or so) sections deal with things like tariffs anyway. It's a giveaway of constitutional guarantees to transnational corporations plus extending wasteful copyrights and patents while imposing these lengthy protections on other TPP countries.

Even putting that aside, that CNN quote of Kaine still made me laugh--he won't vote for it if Obama wants it, but we know damned well he'd support it for Her Heinous. OMFG, give me a break!

Just because they juiced up Clinton to get her through the debates doesn't mean her health issues have gone away. IF she doesn't survive until inauguration then Kaine will probably need to resign the Senate to work full time on the transition.

Teeth

The real Clinton has rounded incisors and a very slight overlap of her left (our right) front upper tooth with the adjacent tooth which is not visible in many lighting situations. You can check photos from when she was first lady and her official SoS photo.
The woman who came out of Chelsea's apartment on 9/11 had pointed incisors and perfect (probably capped) front teeth. Definitely was not Clinton.
The woman at the debate had the correct teeth.
So they may have multiple body doubles and one has similar teeth, or they might have noticed and sent her to the dentist in the interim and this may not work anymore.

By the way, this may be another area for some Red Scare propaganda. As Marcy Wheeler pointed out about a month and half ago, the NYTimes had a straight article piece (not pundits) claiming that Putin was behind the push against TPP. No kidding.

From what I understand, the daughter of the head of PPH holds an important position in the Clinton campaign. I found it rather amusing that Clinton called out Megyn Kelly as a good journalist on the View even though Kelly has absolutely slandered PPH over the phony videos. I am always a reminder of an article Glenn Greenwald wrote about how some new and up-and-coming media figure went to a DC party and saw the elites intermingling with each other just having a great ole time that defied their public personas. They are actors playing the parts they find most profitable.
