America is Great - A Twitter Rant

Make America Great Again was the Trump campaign slogan. But "great" does not mean good. And America is Great, just not the way many people think. Here are a few ways our nation is great that aren't so wonderful:

@The Voice In the Wilderness know that and they surely do not seem to, do they? They use it instead to proclaim goodness, they certainly do not use that to acknowledge that while America has roughly 6% of world population we use 25% of it's resources and control about 50% of the actual wealth. And that 50% number I'm using is most likely woefully outdated but who knows.

mostly stolen. Resource extraction from foreign countries is one of the reasons that the US had become the richest country in the world during the 20th century. It is the processing of these resources into marketable goods that generated the most jobs and wealth.

But, because most major companies have now become global players, they no longer fly any national flag. They buy resources cheap from one country, get it processed with inexpensive labor in another, then sell these goods in global market for the best price. They then protect their corporate profits by hiding it in offshore low tax havens.

Much of the above was/is done under the various forms of slavery. First there was physical slavery. This was followed by wage slavery when it became more economical to pay wages rather than directly supplying basic human needs such as food, clothing, basic health care and housing. When earned income became insufficient to supply the needs of ever increasing consumption, the system increased the availability of credit. This created debt slavery - the third and last phase in an unfettered capitalistic system.

After this we are left with a dilemma, especially as productivity matches and surpasses the natural death rate. What happens to excess population that can no longer be supported by the system? Some of the excess can be used as canon or prison fodder but eventually it is going to breakdown unless something is done with the capitalistic system we now live in.

I cannot believe I am going to use this trite and over-used phrase, but I am. It really describes the fix we're in. Look at it this way, the Clinton Creature had "just one job" and that was to beat this walking turd hearse. And she couldn't. Now they've dusted the old woman off (I'm old too so I can say that) and they're trying to rehab her record with comparisons to Trump. Well, Trump is what we got because the Dims rigged it so that they could run most disliked politician in my lifetime, one who made a nut like this guy look 'good' to the average American in all the places that counted - where all the dirty plebs reside (the irrelevant white working class Democrats in those 'fly-over states). I wonder if her next campaign slogan will be "I told you I'm not as bad as that guy".

Let's face it, both sides are in it for themselves. TPTB on both sides wanted someone who would finally secure their stranglehold on this country, and that's exactly what they got. The elites on the right took this last election from the elites on the left.

The only redeeming factor is that the dumber and most unstable of the two won and we aren't shooting down Russian fighter jets in some American designated no-fly zone in Syria like we would be if the Clinton Creature had been the winner. We have a chance to fight a loose canon like this guy. With the Clinton Creature we would have been screwed from the start. She and the elites on the left would have been able to pull off their agenda because they have the backing of the main stream media (as opposed to right wing sites like Breitbart or Infowars), her crazed supporters follow her blindly, and they would have someone in office who wasn't a blatant screaming ignoramous who is probably going to end up impeached or in a straight jacket.

We sure do live in an 'interesting' time.

that Hillary was convinced was a busted royal flush to her full house (sorry for the poker lingo but it seems apt).

She got what she wanted, and the Dems got what they wanted, and it was all talk of landslides and unicorns.

Talk is cheap, even if the Clinton campaign spent a record amount on the worst run campaign in history.
