Already the fundraising emails!

I have not been a registered Democrat since 2010, and this morning someone named Robert Cruikshank, whomever that might be and I really don't think I care, is sending me a fundraising letter on behalf four persons he is pleased to designate senate heroes. Warren, Brown, Sanders and Baldwin.

What I would like to know is where were these "heroes" when Mme. Clinton was leading her party over an electoral cliff? Why did not Sanders not challenge her theft of the primary? Did Warren really have to endorse her? Did she not hear the voices of all of us begging her to please not go there?

Baldwin and Brown are reliable votes for industrial agriculture and GMOs. I couldn't care less about Baldwin's sexuality, partner(s) or spouse, but I do care how she votes.

And another thing, why the crying about having to confirm appointees quickly? What do these senators have staffs for if not to do research? So, make them work over the holidays this once, just like all us nobodies have to do every year.

So far, to me, this looks like a typical Republican administration, which means hard times are coming. And that means I am not going to have money to spare, especially not for feckless and lazy Democrats.

You forgot the word "corrupt" in this awesomely short/to-the-point, most excellent rant...

I am not going to have money to spare, especially not for corrupt, feckless and lazy Democrats.

Because they sure as hell are. I felt a need to wait until after I voted in November to #Demexit (because I wanted to actually be able to vote here in FL with no problem) but I practically ran to the county offices the very next day, in order to un-register and go back to NPA status. I don't think the Democrats in that abominable Party--the ones that have taken any semblance of political presence away from every American whose politics lie anywhere to the left of the average knuckle-dragging Tea Party hack--are the least bit stupid. They only PLAY feckless and lazy out of one side of their collective mouths, while out the other side, their lips are planted to uber-rich asses and the assholes that sport them. They are corrupt to the core.

years after I already did. Database restore failure probably, knowing the technical expertise Ds have exhibited (none). I was all like wtf! How many times must a girl unsubscribe? Don't say blowing in the wind.

Also democrats.org spammed me again out of the blue. I deleted both solicitations not even bothering to unsub again. They are as corrupt as any crime syndicate if you ask me.

before they can stop. At the federal level, since 2009, the Dems have lost control of the U. S. Senate, the House of Representatives and the presidency. Since 2009 the Dems have lost 27 state legislative bodies by losing over 900 seats at the state level.

Just like the gambling addict who knows that this next $20 will surely hit the jackpot, the Dems know that if they can just raise more money, they can turn it around. They are addicted to money. Wall Street's, FIRE's, anybody's. Money is their answer. No change of heart. No soul searching. Stay the course. Business as usual.

@Hillbilly Dem Me, I doubt that even a Maoist reeducation camp could cure these guys of their addiction.

I hate to wish ill on anyone, but I can't help thinking that a spate of what they have inflicted on others, loss of jobs and decent housing, might be a salutary experience for the likes of the Clinton Cohort.

@Nastarana There will be no bottom. If the Dems haven't gotten the message now, they never will. In 2006, after the Dems came back into power because of the Bush Debacle, there was talk that the Repubs were toast for at least a generation. Ten years later, the Repubs have it all and the Dems are still running plays from the neoliberal playbook. Still ignoring the workers of America. Still beholden to the filthy rich. Still not listening.

even though I was a Democrat for such a short time that I was able to switch back to independent status before my revised card could be mailed. (Closed caucus, registered to caucus for Bernie.) I guess Bernie or someone is selling his list of donors because I dunno how else all these Democrats came crawling out of nowhere to ask me for money.

Anyway, I wouldn't let the lady finish her spiel and interrupted her with "I demexited."

She said "You what? What does that mean?"

Not sure, but I noticed an uptick of begging for money contact after donating to Wendy Davis for TX governor two years ago. People from out of state, I'd never heard of, in states I'd never been.

Killary got my contact information when her goons looted Bernie's list, contained in the software one of her big supporters created, but then deflected and blamed Bernie for doing it after they purposely left the barn door open SO they could deflect and blame.

I finally got Her to stop contacting me after I told her goons to drop me from their list because I refused to support a warmonger who stole the nomination form Bernie. I'm a little jealous that you got to hang up on one of the DNC bots!

Look at Clinton's campaign. I read that emails people got from her staff were all fear-mongering campaign donation pitches.

"Hurry, donate MOAR MONEY. MOARRRR MONEYYYYY. TRUMPPPPPP"

And now they got their wish. 4 years (probably 8 but who knows) of Trump will get a lot of people running to their penny jars and crumpled ones to send to the DNC. Because what Dems need is more money right? Not things like values or morals or ethics, right?

@seabos84 As far as I am concerned, I need to see a lot more from his "senate heroes" than I am presently seeing before I even think about having anything to do with the Democratic Party again. They let us down badly, and a few on camera tellings off of appointees who are going to be confirmed anyway is waaay to little too late for me.
