It is impossible to comprehend what is now considered as news!

After months of media and opposition accusations suggesting that former President Donald Trump was mentally unfit to hold the office of President of the United States, President Trump finally agreed to submit to a cognitive test. In 2018, the White House Physician
administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) to President Trump. He handily passed the test.
Now, the same demands are being made of President Joe Biden. in a letter written by Texas Rep. Dr. Ronny Jackson, and signed by 37 of his Republican colleagues in Congress, Jackson warns that, "President Biden's mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past two years." He urges the 79-year-old President to take a cognitive aptitude test (just as former President Trump did).
Left of Center candidates have scored huge victories in the past year, but things haven't changed very much so far. Keep in mind that many of these governments are very new, so they haven't been given much of a chance yet.
OTOH, there is a lot of work to do and little of that work has been done so far.
Whatever source you might have for political media, that source is probably asking you to "take one side or the other" in a current controversy. I'm against both sides of most of these controversies.
What both sides are implicitly saying is:
1) We can't have Medicare for All but we should promote (name your health policy).
This is going to be painful, but it can no longer be ignored. So I suggest doing it fast, like ripping a bandage off.
I'm going to apologize in advance for some of the worst rap music ever created.
“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum — even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate.”

As many know, 15-20 September 1986 was the week that a bunch of delegates convened in Punta Del Este, Uruguay, to kick off the Uruguay Round negotiation leading up to the creation of the WTO. This meeting concluded in a document called The Punta Del Este Declaration (which was actually the second Punte Del Este Declaration, I now know) on 20 September 1986.
