Honestly, until I wrote the date down for the title of this post, I didn't realize it was September 11th, Patriot Day, today. And that's how out of it I've been lately.
I got sick last week and wasn't able to get online and get anything done, or read or whatever. And so I wasn't even able to respond to the Thursday Open Thread. Bleh! I'm so sorry!
Therefore I also wasn't able to get something really good going for this week's post. So, I'm posting an interesting article from the BBC that was written a few years ago; it's about computer errors caused by cosmic rays and is called 'The Computer Errors from Outer Space'. I wonder how to keep computer code constantly under surveillance to check to see if a bit flips because of a cosmic ray? What if the surveillance code bit gets flipped? Interesting stuff!

Could not believe they would climb the sunflower plants and eat the flowers off of every one. Their weight would tilt them over halfway to the ground, and shooing them away only slows the eventual demise of all the flowers.

Maybe the Donald is playing 5D chess in his quest for the peace prize. He has certainly brought the non-western world together like never before as they unite in an effort to cope with US bullying. Their unity was on display this week at the SCO, the China celebration of the end of WWII, and the Eastern Economic Forum. Meanwhile in the west there was an impotent meeting of the so called coalition of the willing in France. The US illegally blew up a suspected drug boat in its effort to stir up a war with Venezuela, and the big pharma shills in congress attack RFK and his reforms.
