Trump Regrets Saying Mean Things. Hillary Regrets ...?

A few thoughts on Donald Trump's statement of regret made yesterday, and of course, a few things Hillary should consider regretting.

Donald Trump made the following statement Thursday night:

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/18/politics/trump-i-regret-sometimes-saying-w...

"Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don't choose the right words or you say the wrong thing. I have done that. And believe it or not, I regret it. And I do regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues."

I don't personally believe he sincerely regrets making any of those statements, except to the extent they hurt his campaign, but it did get me to thinking. Trump's statements, as far as I know, despite the personal pain they have caused large numbers of Americans, did not directly result, in the death of anyone.

Hillary Clinton, however, the "most qualified person to ever run for President," has not only made statements, but has been responsible for actions by the US government that led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, and human misery and suffering for millions of others. In addition to her vote for the Iraq War, there are many other instances for which she should have regrets.

For example, as Secretary of State, she was personally involved in the installation of a murderous dictatorship in Honduras, which overthrew a democratically elected government; the exploitation of the disaster in Haiti to benefit donors to the Clinton Foundation; the descent into a failed state in Libya resulting again thousands of deaths and human misery for its inhabitants, and the infusion of arms to radical jihadist organizations in Syria, as well as the decision to seek regime change there by deploying our Armed Forces on the ground and in the air. That decision regarding our government's policy toward Syria has, again, led to massive human suffering and a refugee crisis of epic proportions. Indeed, she has stated her intention to escalate that conflict with the institution of a "no fly zone" that may very well lead to a military confrontation with Russia, a nuclear armed power.

So Hillary, any regrets for what you have done?

Trump supporters have been saying for months that what they love MOST about him is his willingness to say what he means and NEVER back down from it.

Yeah, he just took his campaign out back and shot it.

This was likely a brilliant move. It shuts up those complaining about his gaffes while allowing true believers to wink and nod and say "he had to say that".

Official apologies are few and incomplete;

Five Times the United States Officially Apologized

Trump never apologizes because he is a sociopath. Trump's "regret" is as fabricated as they come, more proof of his mindset.

Hillary doesn't because she understands the dynamics.

Hillary is at least as sociopathic as Trump. She has no regrets about all the harm she has done to people all over the world. She only regrets those things where she was caught and then regrets that whomever she can blame did not fix them first. Hillary is driven by money first and power. Hillary has never met a war or a regime change she did not want and she will find a way to enrich herself and her mega donors in the process. She never considers that all the collateral damage that has been done by our wars of choice are to real living and breathing humans beings. She is above all the little people of the world. We and they are nothing to her.

She knows the system and she believes she is above it. She fakes empathy. Undecided about her sociopathy but don't rule it out.
