Of course, in 2008, her campaign was to appeal to "hard-working white people," while in 2016, she was the hot-sauce toting abuela of Hispanics and the Martin Luther King, Jr. of black people, so she had to flip her riff, but divide and conquer, plus pander, was her strategy both times. The second time, however, media and almost every Democratic officeholder in the country aided and abetted her, possibly along with primary vote counters, mechanical and not.

I interpreted her comment to be a very derogatory slam against the working class high school educated demographic that is supporting Trump. Come January, if she has her way, Hillary will be President of those "deplorables" with the power to enact policies that make their lives even worse off.

I agree, totally. Same old deflect and divide. We can't hope to see and respond to the hijacking of our country and the world if we continue to fall for such tactics.
