Hillary's horrible no good rotten day

Ah, come on - it wasn't THAT bad, was it?

From POLITICO:

Clinton faces late summer scandal wave

Controversies surround the Clinton Foundation and her email server will likely dog Clinton all the way through the election — and potentially beyond.

Monday, during a speech in Akron, Trump called for a special prosecutor to be appointed to investigate Clinton.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus called for an expedited process in order to ensure the nearly 15,000 documents are released before Election Day.

"Even worse, this news comes on the heels of the Clinton camp falsely trying to pin her email woes on Colin Powell, raising serious questions about whether she lied to the FBI," Priebus said in a statement, referring to reporting about the former secretary of state's testimony to the FBI that Powell told her to use personal email while at the State Department. Powell has said he does not recall the conversation in question, accusing Clinton's team of "pinning" the email controversy on him.

Trump also wants the Foundation shut down.

Bill apparently sent an email to supporters saying he's step down from the Foundation if she's elected. Hadn't he already said that?

Take a look at all the photos of Clinton up today. Anyone see any smiles?

The Hill has this story listed under "National Security"

Emails: Clinton aide arranged meeting with foundation donor

At this rate, I may end up believing in Karma. Carry on.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

I suspect that this is mainly because her billionaire backers/employers extended their own protection to their hand-servant, this very much including the media monopoly owned by billionaires.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

They have decided that Hillary is boringly corrupt and therefore never follow up on any scandals, because it's just standard, dull corruption that everybody gets involved in.

What was the last scandal anybody in media seemed to care about? Oh yeah, Weiner's Weiner, Part Deux.

Therefore, what needs to happen is clear.

Somebody's got to start looking for coded language that indicates that Hillary had an affair with Gennifer Flowers.

I do not pretend I know what I do not know.

And the WaPost also. Chris cizzila had an article on it, and ctr was NOT able to keep up with the comments lambasting Hillary and cizzila (for being too soft on Hillary).

And the Breitbart guy and kellyanne Conway are trying to have trump be quiet for the week and let Hillary be the story. Trump still shot his mouth off about mika in a tweet this am, but they've pushed his foreign policy speech out.

Hillary is so popular that she just bought $80m in ads. Let that sink in. Why the hell should she have to buy $80m in ads? She's so popular! One of the most admired women in the world! And this is on top of the millions she's already soent on ads for the general.

And they might have been right. I can see the press hounding Bernie about his new house the same way they're not going after Hillary.

Supposedly she is not a BETTER candidate because there have been zillions of these scandals in her past?

Doesn't make sense, especially when new scandals are popping up all of the time.

I believe those interviews the FBI conducted with Hillary and her criminal associates are now in the hands of the congressional committee. Hopefully, that information will be released publicly. It will be interesting to read what questions the FBI asked and what answers were given. Not only from Hillary, but Abedin, Mills and the one I can't wait to hear, Brian Pagliano. I'm sure everyone here knows him as the one who setup and maintained Hillary's server(s). He's also the one given immunity by the FBI and those interview notes were also supposedly turned over to the committee.

There's one thing we know about Brian Pagliano and the details he provided... Absolutely nothing!! There are no emails, he's never spoken a word to the press, he claimed the 5th 125 times in a court hearing, but the FBI believed the information he had was so valuable that they gave him immunity for his testimony! I wonder what he told them? We may know soon and I doubt that will be beneficial to Clinton! Can't wait to read about it!

Don't remember where ... that those FBI notes were heavily redacted. The committee is pushing back, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

It starts out with when Bernie said that he was tired of hearing about her damn emails
When he said that I had a WTF moment. If Bernie wanted to win the election, why was he advocating on Hillary's behalf? He had no idea where an investigation would lead on them and if someone hadn't continued to pursue the private email server and question why she set it up that way we would have no way to know how involved the Clinton foundation was in during her time as SOS.
We wouldn't know that if anyone wanted to have a meeting with her that they had to donate to the foundation first.
Or we wouldn't know how involved Bill was with what the state department and Hillary were doing when he'd first get paid to give a speech to governments buying weapons or financial institutions getting Hillary's interfering with the business they had before the state department.
Or how after every time one of those things happened, the foundation would receive millions in donations.
Obama had Hillary sign an agreement that she would keep the foundation separate from her duties as SOS which she broke almost immediately.
The republicans questioned the legality of this so why didn't Obama step in and tell her to stop doing it?
The rest of the article is about Comey and Lynch
http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/07/15/those-damn-emails-comeys-politica...
Comey stated that if anyone else did or does this then they would be charged.
Are the Clintons that untouchable and if so, why?

But when those results were announced the new Bernie Sanders was so distracted doing his “awkward dance” to the tune of that damn Platform that one might think him unaware that he had his last best chance to win the Democratic nomination snatched from him in broad daylight. Republicans appeared far more disturbed than Sanders about Clinton sewing up the nomination by beating her secret server rap on dubious legal grounds. Since polls have consistently shown Sanders, not Clinton, to be the strongest candidate to beat their guy, one might expect not Republicans, but Sanders, to be out front on this issue. But its 2016, when the “progressive” revolutionary is endorsing the establishment plutocrat.

Remember in the video by some woman that was posted here a few days ago about how the election was stolen from him?
During the video, Bernie didn't say that Hillary was Elected but that she was Selected
And when Hillary called out Bernie for running a great campaign, he just sat there and didn't smile, stand up or anything. The look on his face said it all.
Hillary's supporters deny the blatant evidence that the election was stolen from him.
Thousands of his supporters were kicked off the voting rolls, had their party affiliations changed, Bill interfered with voters in 4 places in Michigan and the other shenanigans that show how the election was stolen.
Hillary has to cheat to win. That says everything about her character. And her supporters for turning a blind eye to it.
Well they are going to see that we were right when we tried to tell them when we used right wing talking points that came from reputable sources, right?
Too bad that we are going to be saddled with their stupid decisions to vote for the status quo and the most corrupt person who has ever run for president!

He does not normally act that cowed. Obviously, Clinton demanded that he be brought down. They couldn't pull off stealing enough votes in CA for that to work on its own.

It will be interesting to see how much of what went on comes out in the end...

You can clearly see the bruise on, and big chunk out of, his cheek.

I'd seen photos of that before, but they were in a vacuum. Seeing the video footage, where on Monday his face was fine and on Tuesday it clearly wasn't, was pretty jolting. And his behavior on Tuesday was, also.

Seems to point to a physical assault/threat. I put nothing past the Clinton Mafia.

Bernie knew, even after Cali., how badass he was. Bill, Hill and the DNC did one of the best tap dances ever, totally snookered the Bern. Had he charged into Philly, telling DWS to shove it up her ass, that he is there to claim what's his, he likely pulls it off.
Thing is he still can pull it off. It ain't over 'til it's over, and it ain't nearly over. Fifty States in Fifty Days!

Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.

http://heavy.com/news/2016/08/did-colin-powell-use-personal-email-secret...

I have no idea if heavy.com is considered a reliable source, but I am still foolish enough to trust my own eyes and ears. I saw and heard Powell being interviewed on TV when Clinton's emails first started seeming problematic for her, before I had heard that the FBI was investigating. He spoke of using his personal email account only for housekeeping matters. He also said that no system at all was in place at State when he took over from Albright, which I can easily believe. Among other things, internet use was very different in January 2000 than it was in January 2008 and my wild, totally unsupported guess is that Albright was not a pioneer in using computers or email.

Even if it was not only housekeeping matters, the difference between Powell and Hillary is large and significant. Hillary's supporters have consistently tried to erase the distinction between using one's own email account, and setting up one's own personal servers, then having your own techie wipe them after State receives an FOIA request. It won't wash, except among the most ignorant, but I guess they don't care how uninformed someone has to be to buy their bs. I guess it seems worth it to them, even if only a few buy it.

Attempting to smear Condi and Powell in order to make what Hillary did seem routine when it wasn't is quintessential Clinton. However, Powell's zeal to protect his own self image would not allow him to extend that "professional courtesy" to Hillary, if they are both part of the plutocracy. I don't remember who I saw interviewing him, but I bet Powell was glad to show up to disassociate himself from Hillary's actions--and I certainly cannot fault him for that, though I do fault him for other things.
