I'm posting this here on his behalf to stimulate debate on how we should respond to the pandemic and whether a different approach might be better. All opinions expressed are his and not mine. 
Having a difficult time concentrating on writing, much less working to market my novel. I am at high risk of getting a severe case of the Corona virus because my immune system is compromised due to my TRAPS disorder. I know many on here who also are in the same boat as me because of their age or pre-existing health conditions. I am going to put myself in lock down starting today, leaving house only for essentials such as doctor appointments, or picking up prescriptions.
Louisiana has postponed its primary. Don't be surprised if more states follow their lead. And then watch the increased push by media pundits and Dem Elites to declare that Biden, who leads in delegates (thanks to obvious election fraud) should be the nominee. Carville and Clyburn have already called for an end to the primaries to declare Biden the winner. They won't be the last.
I did not support #DemExit before tonight. But I just got off the phone with my 24 year old daughter. She's depressed as hell by what we all see, because they are not bothering to hide it anymore. I could not promise her things will get better, because they won't. We do not have a democracy, we have an #oligarchy and when shit hits the fan (as it will sooner than later), our nation will become another dictatorship or military junta.

Let me begin on a personal note. This last week, my 88 year old mother-in-law had to be hospitalized for a novovirus. Before we knew it three other family members and a friend fell ill. My wife was hospitalized yesterday. While not nearly as deadly as the current coronavirus, COVID_19, or influenza, there's no vaccine to prevent novovirus outbreaks like this one. I suppose I could have started this essay without this quote, but in light of the last thirty years, it encapsulates in one sentence just how little the ruling elites across the globe respect the human beings over which they hold power, and whom they exploit with such cruel efficiency. For deceit lies at the heart of what is wrong with our world. A liar passes judgment on each person to whom his or her lie is addressed; i.e., that such people are inferior creatures not worth telling the truth. And a steady stream of lies are what we are witnessing on a daily basis this year.
