Dove has a new ad campaign about how to be a mother.
The theme of the campaign is:
There's no right or wrong way to be a mom -- only your way.
A hell of a lot of people disagree with that statement.
The advertisement displays mothers break dancing, rock climbing, farming, raising a child alone, even being transgender.
Shea is a graduate student. She has a woman partner.
Perhaps the all-time peak of Democratic misrepresentation was when President Wilson got America into WWI after campaigning on how he kept us out of the war.
However, the present Democratic Party is trying to rival that level of misrepresentation.
because why?
Has anyone really asked this of Bernie or the Bernie people or Justice Democrats/ Our Revolution/ Brand New Congress/ Coalition to Promote Maybe You Get A Little Something For Your Tax Dollars?
Are any of those organizations planning to support any candidate anywhere (outside of Bernie, but only technically) who isn't a Democrat?
NATO deploys troops to Poland near Russian border
Poland on Thursday welcomed the first US troops in a multinational force being posted across the Baltic region to counter potential threats from Russia.

Is there any way to stop this?
The above title is from an article written in 2009.
"The Pentagon is accelerating by three years plans for a super bunker buster, the GBU-57A/B or Massive Ordnance Penetrator or MOP, a powerful new bomb aimed squarely at the underground nuclear facilities of Iran and North Korea."
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For a time I actually thought the United States government classification system was about keeping us safe. While that may, in some way, be true: It often is used to keep us ignorant.

I don't watch reality television. I think I accidentally saw about a minute of Survivor last night before I found the remote and switched to PBS' Nature.
As far as I can tell, reality shows like Survivor are a cess pit of mean people displaying their meanness to win a stupid game...and the money and "prestige" that our warped economic environment deems that to be worth.
No, not that nuclear armed state. The other one that bombs the crap out of Syria (and other Middle Eastern countries) day in and day out. No, its the one that never admits it is wrong, usually blaming the terrorists and the victims, or occasionally saying that "mistakes were made, and gosh we're sorry." Today's bombing falls into the latter category.
