Bernie's Magic Carpet Ride T-13: The NY Polling Trendlines

It may be useful for us to feature the NY polls every day until the election in two weeks on 19 April. NY has 247 delegates at stake. Plus, the little matter of momentum and narrative. I think it could be very exciting to see the graph every day until then. Yesterday, Bernie met the delegate math target in his WI win of 57%. He'll receive another little bounce in Wyoming this weekend and then the magic carpet flies high as it can to get over the NY wall. Below are the graphs from Huffpo. Also, Steppenwolf.

About that Hillary ‘support’

It doesn’t really exist. At least not in states that can be expected to help elect a Democratic president.

It's occurred to most conscientious observers that the DNC’s carefully arranged primary schedule strongly favored a conservative candidate. It helped reinforce the illusion of HRC’s inevitability. But illusion is all that it is. It's masking the likelihood of a disaster should she win the nomination.

“Taken” ... great film, love Liam Neeson etc, there's a scene in that movie that has stayed with me, it echoes in a back room of my brain all. the. time. and tends to get a little louder whenever the mechanisms of The Machine appear to be more overwhelming than usual. (so, ya know, every other day!)

I have to go to work so this will be short.

If Hillary Clinton wants to be a better candidate that can actually rally the party in November, she really, really, really needs to do a better job of understanding why so many young people are voting for Bernie. And she really needs a better answer than this.

When asked yet again this morning on Morning Joe why she thinks so many young people are voting for Sanders, including young women, Hillary had this to say:

CNN's reporter covering the Clinton campaign just reported that the campaign intends to go full negative on Sen. Sanders regarding his "gun record." As the reporter put it, the Clinton camp is tired of messing around with Bernie and is ready to assault him on this issue in order to lock up the nomination, and will worry about uniting the party later.
