How can you have a Democracy if you don't respect it?
On the way out tonight, to attend a meeting of the Redlands Mystery Band, I listened for the Democratic Debate. Hard to find. NOT on KFI.
On the way back Tim Conway Jr. was congratulating the station on getting "90%" of the debate. Now, I was trying to find that debate on the radio while driving; I'm in So Cal, I should be able to find the fing debate, right? Amirite?
For those who know my fondness for Hillary, do not fear. Today's Democratic Party Primary Debate held in New York brought forth a feeble acceptance that Hillary is now in favor of lifting the cap for taxable income on upper income payers for social security funding--IYCTH (acronym will be explained below).
Now I understand: Hillary is complex.
She is now maybe, maybe not, supporting lifting the cap on SS taxation to $250,000 depending on which side of her mouth is moving.

i feel a little guilty about my verizon plan, and the ceo is downright nasty against bernie and the union strikers.
i'm ready to bail out, but i don't know if that would help the strikers. i support cwa and i organized unsuccessfully for them many years ago in a small telecom cable company. but i will support the workers first and foremost. should i switch or wait this one out?
Hello, c99 friends, just got in from the weekly trip into the city. Running behind on everything: darn good thing I got retired; now I have more time in which to run behind on all my projects :=) No time for digging today either. Grr.
Yesterday the classic catch-up "horns" were forming nicely in the respective NY trendlines, but Clinton's has flattened out today. (A new NBC/WSJ/Marist poll included has Clinton 57-40 - in line with their poll earlier and same methodology and error rate - which can be taken with the same grain or two of salt.)
