US District Judge Thomas Schroeder heard arguments today on whether he should block enforcement of HB2.
Opponents of HB2 argued that it deprives transgender people of "respect, dignity and equal access to public facilities."
Judge Schroeder was asked to put the law on hold until after the trial on its constitutionality is held in late October/early November.
Challengers to the law include the US Justice Department and the ACLU.
So, this happened.
I haven't been around lately. As some of you know, I have been embroiled in house-hunting (which has not been a pleasant process so far). I also lost my internet connection because 1)my desktop won't turn on, and 2)my laptop has some unspecified problem with its network adapter. So basically all of my Net activities are done through my best friend's desktop, when she's not using it.
Nina Turner posted an article about her possible run with the Green Party and the Stein ticket this morning on her FB page. I think she might be testing the waters.
Please, go send her some LOVE on her FB page, and counteract what looks to be the CTR concern trolls there.
***UPDATE***
It appears that post from earlier this morning was taken down. I have no other information.
It was FUDGE who repeated what Bernie said AS IF he did that, but here MSNBC looks at his exact wording:
Bernie has been out on the talk show circuit talking up Hellery ever since his endorsement. Even after he sat stone faced at the Hellery Coronation last week, he was back on teevee yesterday preaching "Hellery believes 'this', Hellery believes 'that'" (fill in some progressive policies that Hellery will never try to advance). This Face The Nation interview yesterday was a prime example.

Today's number is one
Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine seemingly contradicted the assertion, made by Hillary Clinton's campaign and his own spokesperson, that he would work with the nominee on restoring Medicaid funding for abortion.
That was quick:
Just speaking my mind...
Donald Trump never apologized to President Barack Obama over all that "birther" nonsense. Not ONE public apology.
