Publishing an essay is now a two step process. You must now click the "Preview" button before the "Publish" button displays. IOW you must preview the essay before publishing.
Clicking the button to publish any content (essay, comment, delete, etc.) will now disable the button and a spinning "Processing" symbol will be displayed until the initial request to the server is returned. This should help with the double posts as a double click will not be possible.

It's not whether you can do the work, but whether you make the ones who can't feel threatened.
It's not whether you're competent, but whether you make the incompetent feel stupid.

It's not whether you buy into the scam, but whether you make the ones who do feel like chumps.
“Trump’s suicide mission is ultimately about something much larger than his own presidential campaign, and also much larger than demographic clichés about the declining white majority.”
So what does he do with all his dough? Known for opulent and garish taste, candidate Trump has embraced conspicuous consumption. And boy, does he like gold. Indeed, he has shown enthusiasm for returning to the gold standard. “There is something very nice,” he said, “about the concept” of having a “solid” country filled with money backed by bullion.
