The True Purpose of Superdelegates or How the DNC Lies to Convince You They Know Best

This whole election cycle has convinced me that the corruption (that I always knew was there) truly runs deep. The system is rotten to the core. So I decided to look up a brief history of superdelegates.

The history is a bit involved but the basic premise is that the Democratic Party, in the wake of presidential campaign losses beginning in 1968, wanted a system that would insure that the best candidate was put forward.

Study on Hate Crimes

The New York Times obtained an advanced copy of a study by researchers at Cal State San Berdoo on the prevalence of hate crimes in the United States.

While the most current hate crime statistics from the F.B.I. are not expected until November, new data from researchers at California State University, San Bernardino, found that hate crimes against American Muslims were up 78 percent over the course of 2015. Attacks on those perceived as Arab rose even more sharply.

ALERT - DHS: We May Declare Elections System 'Critical Infrastructure'

I interrupt these regular pie fights of nothing burgers with an important update from Sane Progressive and the DHS wanting to declare our election systems "critical infrastructure".

Stop and think about that, if you can pull yourself away from gossiping at the water cooler, what would the "potential" be, if DHS took over our election systems?

Are our elections important to you? Just saying....

The homemade bombs that exploded in the Chelsea district of NYC and Elisabeth, NJ now appear to have a potential "foreign connection" (according to Governor Andrew Cuomo). The police have identified a suspect, Ahmad Khan Rahami, a 28 year-old US citizen originally born in Afghanistan.
