The Mayan Long Count Began on September 6 in 3114 BCE roughly 500 years before the flood, corresponding to the reign of Khufu in Egypt. Egypt didn't flood because it was vastly higher than Mount Ararat or even the himalayas. The whole new world, of course, didn't glood because it hadn't been discovered yet.
