The McResistance stands up for Trump again

Rep. Adam Schiff, virtually the face of Russiagate, seems to believes that President Trump is guilty of treason.
So it only makes sense that Schiff went out of his way to make sure that Trump "has limitless authority to conduct mass warrantless surveillance."

In a final vote of 253-175, it was 126 Democrats who joined with 127 Republicans to vote against an amendment introduced by Rep Justin Amash (R-Mich.) and Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) that would have closed loopholes in Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act that critics charge has allowed the NSA to abuse warrantless surveillance capabilities and target the emails, text messages, and internet activity of U.S. citizens and residents. See the full roll call here.

Among the high-profile Democrats to vote against the bill was Rep. Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a frequent and outspoken critic of President Donald Trump.

"It's good to know that House Democrats like Adam Schiff are 'resisting' Trump by voting to ensure that he has limitless authority to conduct mass warrantless surveillance," said Evan Greer, the deputy director of Fight for the Future, in a statement rebuking those Democrats who sided with the president and the Republicans in voting down the Amash-Lofgren amendment.

Not letting Republicans off the hook, however, she said the GOP should "be even more embarrassed" than the Democrats over their vote. House Republicans, added Greer, have "spent months complaining about the Obama administration’s abuses of FISA and then voted for the status quo when they had an actual opportunity to rein in Big Brother."

Schiff also stands up for the case for war with Iran.
With enemies like this, who needs friends?

@Pluto's Republic there is so much nit picking about rt/left but that is the real question. As long as the left is the court jester of politics we're safe, but the second people take us seriously, we're screwed. Unless.......

Friends, Americans, countrymen, lend me your ears;
I come to bury Civil Rights, not to praise him.
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interred with their bones;
So let it be with Civil Rights. The noble Adam Schiff
Hath told you Civil Rights was ambitious:
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And grievously hath Civil Rights answer'd it.
Here, under leave of Adam Schiff and the rest--
For Adam Schiff is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men--
Come I to speak in Civil Rights's funeral.
He was my friend, faithful and just to me:
But Adam Schiff says he was ambitious;
And Adam Schiff is an honourable man.
He hath brought many captives home to Rome
Whose ransoms did the general coffers fill:
Did this in Civil Rights seem ambitious?
When that the poor have cried, Civil Rights hath wept:
Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:
Yet Adam Schiff says he was ambitious;
And Adam Schiff is an honourable man.
You all did see that on the Lupercal
I thrice presented him a kingly crown,
Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?
Yet Adam Schiff says he was ambitious;
And, sure, he is an honourable man.
I speak not to disprove what Adam Schiff spoke,
But here I am to speak what I do know.
You all did love him once, not without cause:
What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?
O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;
My heart is in the coffin there with Civil Rights,
And I must pause till it come back to me.

They all cheer on their funders. Consider the dim leadership, payola pelosi and upchuckie shummer. War isn't a problem when they pay you....especially when it is other people dying.

Plus the MSM never met a war they didn't like, so they cheer lead too. Whata mess.

“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”

While Swallwell voted NO, and Moulton didn’t vote. (Any other Representatives running for president that I missed?)

It’s hardly surprising that a (slim) majority of Democrats voted for a more authoritarian state, while Republicans voted for that 2-1. But wouldn’t it be nice if this actually was reported on “news” networks and used by candidates primarying the bastards.
