Lyin' Biden: African Americans and Hispanics

Nina Turner emphatically and heart-wrenchingly reacts to Biden's "gaffe:"

Hispanics?

And now the MSM is going after Castro! Pretty Smart on Their(My) Part as Phil Ochs sorta used to sarcastically sing:

But wait!!!! MINDBLOWING ALERT! I never thought I'd recommend the viewing of anything on MSDNC much less from Joy Ann Reid, but HOLY SHIT, this is devastating to Biden, ON MSDNC no less:

https://www.msnbc.com/am-joy/watch/biden-s-controversial-debate-response...

In the above linked video clip, she actually interviews Anand Giridharadas who may well have been the first to unleash a tweet storm on Biden's response:

Wrote a pretty good letter to Bye-done earlier this summer.
https://therealnews.com/why-an-apology-tour-is-needed-an-open-letter-to-...

Your “past policy stances” have done so much harm — to so many people for so long — that if you start “expressing remorse,” there might be no end in sight.

He goes on...

The days are past when vast numbers of Democrats won’t notice that you’re uttering platitudes about the middle class and being touted as “Lunch Bucket Joe” after serving the interests of corporate giants as Wall Street Joe. And a whole lot of people will really care as they learn about your political backstory of not-so-subtle appeals to racism on such matters as busing for school desegregation and the draconian 1994 crime bill that fueled mass incarceration.

@Lookout

. . . according to Joy Ann Reid in the MSNBC video above still overwhelmingly supports Biden even after the debate.

She tells of how she was at a CBC event the day after the debate and how the vast majority of its members and supporters still are gung ho for Biden and that their argument rested on his electability. Basically, it seems their argument is: Well, yea, he's kinda racist but that's the best we can do given that America is racist and he's nowhere as bad as Trump. And Obama will always be there to make sure he does the right thing.

@Wally

There's quite a bit of evidence proving them wrong...not too different than 2016 is it?

I learn about this article(s) from gjohn...
Trump will win in 2020 if the dims nominate a centrist...
https://www.salon.com/2019/06/02/there-is-hard-data-that-shows-that-a-ce...

"Piketty's basic thesis is that poorer and less educated voters were historically the kind of voters who voted for left and left-liberal parties. These voters understood that their class interests did not align with the right-wing parties of the rich; thus, historically, the "high-income, high education" voters picked the right-wing parties. This shifted in the past 70 years: "high-education elites now vote for the 'left',
...
Yet the Democratic Party and their mouthpieces at major newspapers are clearly not heeding Piketty's prophecy. Rather, TV pundits and op-ed writers of every major newspaper epitomize how the Democratic establishment has already reached a consensus: the 2020 nominee must be a centrist, a Joe Biden, Cory Booker or Kamala Harris–type, preferably.
...
Piketty's paper is an inconvenient truth for the Democratic Party. The party's leaders see themselves as the left wing of capital — supporting social policies that liberal rich people can get behind, never daring to enact economic reforms that might step on rich donors' toes. Hence, the establishment seems intent on anointing the centrist Democrats of capital, who push liberal social policies and neoliberal economic policies. History speaks to Piketty's truths."

Here is the data dense study...

@Lookout who's had a show on HBO for years, the one who has usually wanted to seem independent-thinking and edgy, hip and cool in a libertarian way and almost beyond traditional politics, the other night offered his preference ... Amy Klobuchar.

As for the rest of the MSM, they consciously act to omit substantive discussions from the progressive or Bernie perspective. It's so glaringly apparent. They do indulge in some Liz love, b/c presumably she has sucked up enough to the establishment, but only as a backup candidate in the horserace and not as a vehicle to discuss and represent her mostly progressive policies.

@Lookout a couple yrs ago when I pulled the plug on HBO -- I think it was the constant Russia bashing by Bill. I only catch some clips on YT these days.

Unfortunately, as I was reminded recently with an otherwise informed and intelligent guest, he still has his fans, and so it's useful now and then to see what he's peddling to the Great Washed out there.

All the best.

So, the CBC is nodding their head publicly that the 2020 election is going to be between a Trump style racism vs. a Biden style racism?

Wow. Now there's a progressive vision to peddle to their constituents, eh?

But that's a big hunk of Biden's base and explains why he keeps polling around 20-30 per cent of the vote.

If the most recent "gaffe" doesn't do him in, I'm not so sure anything can.

He may, though, fall short of the necessary number of votes on the first ballot.

Or Bernie will surprise us all.

@Wally Joe's teaming with and loyalty to Obama must trump everything else, no matter what. An extreme proxy version of hardcore IdPol.

Thanks for setting such a low bar, CBC. And while you're at it, remind me of all the other wonderful things you do besides play IdPol.

As for Anand and Joy Reid, I linked that interview the other day, having seen your link of Anand's twitter feed, but apparently it didn't get attention. Don't know who Anand prefers, but it's not Biden. Maybe Liz is as far left as he goes, which is about as much as can be expected on that channel. Anyway, a great takedown of Biden's Racist Uncle at Thanksgiving answer.

I would imagine they don't allow this guy to make appearances M-F during prime time. Too outspoken against the wrong candidate.

Good one.

I just perused his twitter. Seems like he is favorably disposed towards AOC. But there was one tweet in there that could arguably indicate he is at least somewhat partisan towards HerHeionous. Nothing in there that indicates he's supportive of Warren. Not Bernie either although he made clear during the interview that Bernie isn't stuck in a previous era like Biden.

blame and denigrate black fathers for being absent in their children's lives. While his administration continued disproportionately locking them up for petty crimes. His administration also deflected blame for the racial "achievement gap" on standardized tests away from poverty and systemic discrimination, instead saying it was all the public schools and teacher's unions; then they dismantled public schools in many urban cores, replacing them with for-profit charter schools with "high expectations" -- code for bizarre behaviorist approaches to discipline, school uniforms, kids have to have their hands folded on the desks and never say a word, etc. The words on the record player is in the same vein: it's not Empire's fault for using our resources to bomb the rest of the world to enrich a few dozen billionaires and abandon our own citizens, it's those damn parents for not exposing their kids to enough Baby Einstein.

Speaking of the legacy of slavery, racial slavery was resuscitated in Libya thanks to the Obama-Biden Administration (along with its NATO allies). Is this not part of the American legacy of slavery that must be addressed?

If you do twitter, you might want to visit and pose the same takes to "progressives" like Arnand, Joy Ann, Denise Oliver-Velez, Jamil Smith, Imani Gandy, Terrell Starr,. and a few others. My guess is they will find fault with Biden but not Obama.

Way to talk about gangs with black girls in the background Joe! Do you just see blacks and your mind goes there? Seriously if people can't see that he thinks blacks are not in the same class as whites he really should just drop out. Rolling Stones has a great article about how ByeDone is not that much different than Trump on racial issues. I posted it here somewhere..

Nina Turner is excellent and said what many people are thinking when it comes to his policies. And Joe once again copped out when asked about his and MyBoss' 3 million deportations. "I was only the VP!" Except when people praise what Obama did then Joe takes full credit for it.

People are pretty ticked off at ByeDone for the story he gave. But for the other guy to back him up.. I really don't understand that. A few people said that ByeDone told that story before years ago. Still it's strange.

What in the world got Joe prompted to tell that tale? Every day seems to point to an increasing issue with disjointed thinking. Plus it sounds like the dentures are wobbly again.

This is the first tweet in the thread. The girl said that she and her friends had just got out of school and walked to the bus stop when the cops drove by and then came back and harassed them for no reason. Think that would happen in an affluent white neighborhood?

He's been using those devices so long it has become ingrained. Like all deeply ingrained behaviors, they will be some of the last capacities remaining as China Joe's brain continues in the dwindles currently under way. Soon, it might be incorrect to say that JoJo is lying because he no longer remembers the truth or what is supposed to be the truth.
