King Cuomo II---the Greedy Governor of NY

If you think I have been too hard on King Andrew, read this article: STOP THE PRESSES. UPDATES!!!!! The tide may be turning. I'm going to up-date in the comments.

https://nypost.com/2021/08/02/106m-light-show-announced-by-cuomo-in-2017...

The video loads very slowly but it is worth the wait.

Andrew Cuomo has pissed away every dollar he gets his hands on. This public "Light Bridge"project was mocked at the time and never actually brought anything but waste to New York.

Now it is 3.2 Billion Federal dollars of Rental Assistance that have failed to reach people losing their homes.

Cuomo and what he's done to NY and NYC in particular shows us the worth (ZERO) of the (D) Party to anybody but the 1% who fund and control elections.

UPDATE---BREAKING NOW---Attorney General releases report on Cuomo sexual harrassment!!!

Up dates as long as they come in......

I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.

Will it matter? IDK.

Will the NY State Assembly impeach? Unlikely. Leader,Carl Heastie is a DINO buddy of King Andy.

Will the Governor resign? Hahahahahahahaha

Will the NY State Senate do anything meaningful? Maybe, it is possible.

Will Handsy Andy run for office again? You betcha.

If he loses the re-election race, will he accept the loss? When pigs fly.

Who has more cronies in prison and/or convicted of fraud, Trump or Cuomo? King Cuomo.

#Me-Too, RIP October 6, 2018

The top-down social reform movement called #Me-Too crashed and burned three years ago as the United States Senate rejected the allegation of sexual assault made by Christine Blasey Ford against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh -- a hyper-partisan political hack with a law degree and a Federal Judgeship who made a total ass of himself in his testimony before the Judiciary Committee. Polling at the time showed that the Republicans got a nice polling bump from the affair, a result as baffling to most partisan Democrats as the result of the Presidential election of 2016. How could people be so deplorable?

#Me-too was always excessive. It's two main assertions were (1) there is no defense to an accusation of sexual misconduct; and (2) it does not matter how long ago it supposedly took place. This excess was in response to a much greater and more onerous excess -- a patriarchal culture that licensed men to abuse women with impunity. I never bought into #Me-Too, but I understood the cause of the stridency behind it and I still don't have a good answer to the question of HOW we eradicate the grotesque injustice of men like Harvey Weinstein – and, based on this report, Andrew Cuomo.

What killed it, of course, was its own top-down mode of expression. It did not bubble up from the female workforce of hourly employees who regularly face all manner of disrespect, intimidation and physical abuse. Instead it came from individual cases -- "stories" told by brave individuals who came into contact with famous men. Instead of the cold indifference that TV networks, newspapers, magazines and law enforcement agencies show to women who complain about abusive encounters on the jobs that most people have, suddenly these particular accusations became Head Line News and a solid phalanx of Famous Voices spoke up in support.

During its two year run, you never heard about #Me-Too nailing any grocery store managers or factory supervisors. It was exclusively about famous people -- and, as it is not a legal remedy, but a media event -- the penalty is for the famous person to quit being famous. As a media driven social movement, it has no way to punish people who are not famous.

Thus #Me-Too never affected very many people directly, in distinction from political and legal campaigns about topics like drunk driving or legalizing marijuana. It took place entirely among the rich and famous and their personal retinues. As such, it never had much of a constituency -- mainly the audience for "liberal" platforms like Huffington Post, MSNBC and the Democratic Party.

.

It died at the hands of Donald Trump, pretty much its primary target. The Senate did not automatically credit the accusation and the three decades between the alleged deed and the accusation were very relevant to the decision.

I wish the Senate had rejected that nimrod for other reasons, but I shed no tears for the end of #Me-Too. If its conventions were allowed to become standing operating procedure, it is a piece of cake to nail anybody. Just find a witness who had contact with your target decades ago, coach her up really well, pay her a couple million bucks off shore -- and boom! The accusation is always true, no matter what. And it does not matter how long ago it was, so that conflicting stories can be dismissed.

That shit had to stop someday.

When politics is only about personal "character," there is no real politics. When social reform is driven by corporate media, there is no real reform.

Cuomo? This rap on him is MUCH more persuasive than the single pointing finger at Kavanaugh. But in yet another irony, if Cuomo does escape this crisis with his political skin intact, it will be largely due to the excesses of #Me-Too having poisoned the well of indignation.

I cried when I wrote this song. Sue me if I play too long.

1) The NYC Mayor-in Waiting---has called for the Prince to resign immediately. Yes, after appearing with Cuomo last week, all smiles and fistbumps, Our New Bully has thrown the Old Bully under the bus. Eric Adams has seen how badly Cuomo treats the NYC Mayor and if he can escape de Blasio's fate he will be lucky.

2) These DNC heavy weights came out as soon as Cuomo delivered his 15 minute pre-taped statement at 1:00. Hakeem Jeffries from Brooklyn. Gregory Meeks from Queens, and Thomas Suozzi from the Queens/Nassau border. There may be more as I've been out for a bit doing errands.

3) Bill de Blasio had his moment. (The band should have been playing, "At Last."

4) Andrea Stewart-Cousins, NY State Senate leader is on TV now. Go, Andy, go. right now. resign.

5) US Senator from NY Kirsten Gillibrand has said, "The Party's Over," GO now.

I'll post more info as it unfolds.

call for him to resign.

If this is what it takes for a shining neoliberal star to fall, so be it. Although it's not the most egregious of his crimes and misdemeanors.

@Marie The NY State AG will be releasing the results of her inquiry on a variety of fraud, corruption, Covid Deaths, $5 million dollar advance to Cuomo for a book his staff wrote while on our payroll, The Gateway Tunnel disappearing funds, the Film Studio near Syracuse that never filmed a single TV show or movie, the Buffalo Billions, the Light Show I documented earlier today..........

The charges today were ugly but did not involve the billions of dollars Cuomo disappeared into his pockets or those of his friends and donors.

...as anything other than a known psychopath.

But Americans, in overwhelming numbers, invariably select the psychopath out of any group of candidates to lead them. They probably cannot discern psychopaths, so it's some sort of self-destructive cultural instinct they have developed. Abusive societies produce brain-damaged citizens. This must be the reason they are obsessed with guns and with control through violence.

Yet they can plainly see who the corporate tools are, since they are lavished with election funding. But then, the big money can buy the naive and clueless votes with a saturation of strategic ads and tested trigger words. That generally puts the Corporations into positions of power across the nation. So, the centuries-long march continues on the slave and genocide continent — toward a population of disposable serfs in permanent denial.

Democracy is always, always weaponized. Plato tried to make that clear. And it's a particularly disastrous way to 'pretend-select' a leader in a technologically advanced civilization. Ugh. Unfortunately people's minds are frozen and paralyzed. Like prey. They will continue to zombie-vote for the rest of their lives rather than talk about the coercive trap they are caught in.

To someone who is conscious of the working reality — it's like watching a horror movie, where you're forced share the experience with the soon-to-be victim. [This is where I change the channel.]

The political system is what it is because the People are who they are. — Plato

@Pluto's Republic but that does not distinguish him much from most of our politicians. We generally can see them as selfish, you know, narcissists, but the malignity of Cuomo and Trump, for example, can be masked by charm or competence.

The difference for me, if not for trained psychologists, is the revenge part of Cuomo and Trump's behavior. Malignant narcissists do not only want to Win---it is always about them, but they want you to lose. They delight in punishing. A Clinton trait, too, obviously.

Either way, malignant or benign, it is these candidates who tend to win, as you said.

There is a political earthquake happening in NYC right now. Remains to be seen if the earth truly moves or if it is only a passing rumble.

has the news today:

I think he should resign,” the president ventured, even while admitting he hadn’t actually read the report from New York Attorney General Letitia James into the sexual harassment investigations that have piled up around Cuomo since December.

believable; he can't even read a teleprompter. guess none of them believed joe groped tara reades' vagina, though.

in a separate piece, reade says he'd believed that AOC was sexually assaulted, but the good progressive didn't believer her.

fucking hypocrites.

Cuomo is acting like Trump as he refuses to face the "reality" of the system giving him the boot.

All the Democratic Party bullhorns are now telling him to resign. A guy like Al Franken just follows orders. Bloomie, Little Pete, Klobuchar and Pocahantas all obeyed the Hopester when he told them to fold their hands. But so far Cuomo is still in a state of denial about his glorious career being cut off at the knees.

There are very few exceptions in the class of Famous Politicians who do not follow orders from The Party.

It will be interesting to see if those Famous Politicians and their media allies amp up the rhetoric like they did against Donnie Fucknuts. "Delusional Cuomo Lies About His Crimes!"

Is this a great country or what?
