No President Hillary Clinton, No Clinton Foundation. Period. If you are a wealthy somebody or a politician in control of a ministry or sovereign fund or a sultan or oil minister needing some quid pro quo, there's really no rationale to donate to the foundation unless at least one of them are in power, and I'm talking BIG power, like president, chief economic advisor, secretary of state. Hill, Bill, Chelsea and Marc Medzvesky will continue to use the family foundation as a hoovering device to suck up all the world's wealth, so long as they have the political POWER to make your wishes come true. That's why she-will-be-the-nominee. No power-no donations.

From the woman who set up a private server to avoid FOIA requests. From the woman who will not release the transcripts. From the woman who hallucinates about being shot at. Yeah, I'll buy that.

No conflict of interest with Bill heading up her economic platform. By the way, she has not announced what job she will give Chelsea or the granddaughter.

Twenty-one congresspeople sought an investigation of the Foundation this week (it was denied--hopefully becasue the FBI has first dibs), so maybe the rest of the media is thinking they might have to look like they are paying attention.

And great point about her transparency and her private email server. I wonder if she will set up another private server in the presidential bedroom? Smile
The 21 house members that requested that the FTC look into the foundation are republicans. You are right that the FBI is looking into this, but if they don't find anything or Obama pardons her if they do, then if she is elected president then the republicans are going to spend 4-8 years investigating the Clintons again.
The democrats are so blindly stupid for putting such a corrupt, incompetent candidate up for election. They had to know about her vulnerabilities.
They have put so much energy and unfair procedures in making sure that she's elected, when they could have gotten behind Bernie who represents their so called values. But that would put an end to the money train that they have been enjoying since the Clintons created the DLC.
But I'm sure that Biden will be waiting on the side if she's indicted.
I have been saying that it is the foundation that should be investigated along with the emails because of the conflict of interest, and also the conflict of interest because Huma Abedin was high up in both the state department and also in the Clinton foundation. How could Obama neglect this?
From winddancer's link.

The charitable organization is still under investigation by the FBI, which is looking into allegations of public corruption stemming from Hillary Clinton's time as secretary of state. Those include concerns that foundation resources were improperly commingled with those belonging to the federal government, and that it received contributions from foreign dignitaries Clinton was in a position to benefit.

Between her duties and the fucking foundation. And everyone in the government knows about it.
She was told to keep the foundation separate from her duties as SOS. She didn't.
First Bill would get paid to give a speech by the governments that were buying weapons from the state department and after the sales they would donate millions of dollars to the foundation.
Weapon sales went way up during her time as SOS. Over $165 billion in sales were sold.
James did a great diary about this earlier this week and provided two great links. I'll find the link to it.
Many governments or companies, banks and other financial institutions would ask Hillary to intervene with the problems they were having with our government and after she fixed it for them, they'd donate to the foundation.
How is that anything but quid pro quid?
And this also ties into her speeches to organizations that were being investigated by our government for possible fraud. And after those paid speeches, they too would donate to the foundation.
On their website there's a question about why the charity navigator gives them such a poor rating. They don't answer the question, but defers by stating that other charity watch groups give them a good rating. Charity navigator says that they only give 10% of the donations to charities.
If they were doing great work all over the world, wouldn't we hear about it like the Gate's foundation?
Do a search for Clinton foundation scandals.

“If Bill seeks to raise large sums of money from donors who also have an interest in U.S. policy, the public will rightly question whether the grants affected United States foreign policy,” said Stephen Gillers, a legal ethics expert at New York University School of Law. Ethics rules, he notes, are “not merely to prevent bad behavior but to foster public trust in the integrity of government choices.” He’s open, however, to the idea of their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, running the foundation.

But others say any connection is unacceptable. Joel Fleishman, who ran a foundation and has written a book on philanthropy, says the Clintons have to “sever the relationship completely and put it in the hands of independent trustees.” Mr. Fleishman says the Clintons have to pick a leader of “impeccable integrity and let it go its own way in raising money.”

And here one of my comments which includes the link to the movie Clinton Cash which is being shown at Cannes this week and will be shown before the election.
But I thought that Moore's Farenheit 9/11 would change people's minds about voting for Bush, but it didn't. Maybe the republican voters didn't watch it because Michael is a liberal, but I'm hoping that the Hillary supporters will watch it.

Here's another possible conflict of interest (crime)? with the cross over between her duties as SOS and her foundation.
And try to find a showing of the movie Clinton Cash. First look at the explosive documentary Clinton Cash!
http://nypost.com/2016/05/17/first-look-at-explosive-hillary-documentary...

In announcing the $2 million gift, "Clinton did not point out that, to secure the donation, the State Department had set aside ethics guidelines that first prohibited solicitations of Boeing and then later permitted only a $1 million gift from the company," the Post reported in April of last year. "Boeing had been included on a list of firms to be avoided because of its frequent reliance on the government for help negotiating overseas business and concern that a donation could be seen as an attempt to curry favor with U.S. officials."

The State Department's pavilion was sponsored by Pepsi, General Electric, Procter and Gamble, Pfizer, Intel, Honeywell, Yum! Foods, Boeing and Qualcomm.

Each of those companies have also donated heavily to the Clinton Foundation.

I know there is a lot going on with both the FBI thing and depositions for all of her little "helpers" in the FOIA suits. Most will happen by the end of June, and on May 16, they announced that she will also be deposed on those suits. We all know there is a LOT more going on than this. Any opinions as to what they are attempting to do with this little tale? The first deposition, for Lukens, was done last week, and JW put out a little teaser promising more info this week. Those depositions, though civil, will probably reveal a LOT of information that the Clintons would prefer to bury. I guess we'll stay tuned, this could get pretty interesting.

is the new film-making capitol) came up with a script of a candidate for POTUS, winning primaries, while also under FBI investigation for fraud, financial deals involving favors for weapons, there is always a background clock ticking (Think 60 Minutes intro). A race in a race. That script has already been in movies I think. Now it's playing out again in real--scripted all around--life. How will it end this time?

I couldn't resist a mention of Bulworth (1998). Very funny Clinton era film and in some strange way relates to todays politics. Except, in 1998 you had to be crazy to tell the truth about lobbyists and politics. The movie makes fun of just about everybody and some might call it racist (I am not sure if that would be the Newt wing, the Duck Wing, or the Donkey Wing.) I don't.

Angry black woman: Are you sayin' the Democratic Party don't care about the African-American community?

Sen. Jay Billington Bulworth: Isn't that OBVIOUS? You got half your kids are out of work and the other half are in jail. Do you see ANY Democrat doing anything about it? Certainly not me! So what're you gonna do, vote Republican? Come on! Come on, you're not gonna vote Republican! Let's call a spade a spade!
[Loud, angry booing]

Sen. Jay Billington Bulworth: I mean - come on! You can have a Billion Man March! If you don't put down that malt liquor and chicken wings, and get behind someone other than a running back who stabs his wife, you're NEVER gonna get rid of somebody like me!

Real low res version is on you tube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0Qq3n1PEa0 Probably available at your local library, and I see there are hr copies at ex-t and kat.

Here is my favorite clip. Guaranteed applause generator.
