I keep wanting to connect the dots with Trump, the real estate mogul and his principal capos Witkoff, another RE mogul, and Kushner, a wanna be RE developer of the future Gaza Riviera. Clearing the land of "entanglements" is the first negotiation, probably with Israeli oil companies.
It's all about making "deals".
No doubt, The oil companies want to get their hands on prime offshore gas fields that will have to be pried away from their rightful owners.
There is the first "deal" to be made. Israel clears the land and in return gets the gas fields.
Vegas tycoon did her own deal before the last election over Palestine lands and probably parts of Syria and Lebanon.
Gunboat negotiations over Venezuelan oil sovereignty with American big oil was done pre election.
Negotiations continue over Greenland, Cuba, Canada, and maybe all of Panama.
But unfortunately, Iran is not responding to the gunboat portion of the negotiations in a manner in which the Trump Cartel is accustomed. How dare them not surrender meekly!
It's all about real estate, and who wants it, and what is the price.
Of course, the Trump Cartel is losing RE in Ukraine to Russia bigly. So plan A.2 is a hostile takeover of Azerbaijan and wheedle away at Russia's soft underbelly.
All in the quest for moar RE.
Like a cancer jumping from the colon to the lymph nodes, brain, and then on to the whole enchilada.

Not just real estate.
Two Trump sons are now in a new business manufacturing military drones. They are going public soon, and are expecting their stocks to sell at high rates since they are already making deals with the military to purchase their drones. I do not question that their deals have to do with their father being President. I do not question that they are drone manufacturing experts. I truly believe they have a long hands-on education in all things drone weaponry that they learned while selling condos in NYC.

They are watching us closely. They used to call it "Metadata". Now it's Data Centers gobbling up every possible piece of information on every single person on Earth.
The massive amounts of electricity these centers consume is an indication of how much data is being collected and stashed away in "The Cloud".
Consider how much data you store away on your Smartphone with a tiny battery. Mentally multiply that by quadrillions. Maybe even a cardinal number in the septillions.

FWIW, "regular/lowest grade" yesterday (Monday) here at my local "not a brand name" gas station near the beach in San Francisco was just under $6/gallon when I topped off the tank in my car. The sign that shows the price/gallon had the numbers removed and was left blank, presumably because they expect the price to change too frequently to bother posting.

When I go from home to the office, I am 2 blocks short of reached 3 gas stations, so I may not pass by a sign for a week. I do know that $3.50 per gallon was the national average Sunday, iirc. I am sure by the time this guy started composing the timeline until he posted it, prices had increased.

California has much higher state taxes/gallon than most places, so when I talk to friends in the midwest their prices always seem to be $2-3 lower. I haven't put gas in the car for a month or two, but I think it was probably high $4/low $5 at that time.
Of course, there has been zero change in supply so this increase seems like it is mostly profiteering, though they may have gotten the word that the next tanker visit was going to be costing them more money so they are trying to get ahead of the game.
I'm glad I no longer need to commute or drive much. Our car, purchased late 2013, has just clocked 25K miles, so maybe this tank will last until things are up to $7/gallon.
AAA says $5.53 average for SF county today, about 25 cents higher than the state average.

The problem with Trump, who appears as one consequentialist among many, is that Trump's idea of consequentialism is to put on a blindfold, stick fingers deeply into ears, and yell LA LA LA LA LA in his loudest voice so as to drown out any opinions which might oppose those of the tiny yet super-rich fraction of the donor class which supports him. This theory of Trump would explain why the signal-to-noise ratio of any particular Trump speech is zero -- why should we pay attention to the particular tones of any set of noises Trump might make at any particular time for the sake of not listening?
