Don't worry about Chris Rock. He'll be more than fine

I've seen some comedians worrying how Will Smith's slap will damage Chris Rock's career.
It turns out that this couldn't be further from the truth. Chris Rock already had a world tour planned, and what do you think the slap has done for ticket sales?

Ticket sales for Chris Rock’s stand-up comedy tour have soared by more than 25 times following the comedian getting slapped in the face by Will Smith at Sunday's Oscars.

It isn't just the number of tickets sold. It's also the price of the tickets.

There are more than a dozen tickets to Rock’s Wednesday shows up for sale on StubHub, with prices ranging from $444 per ticket to $1,705. To be sure, those are just asking prices — it’s unclear if anyone will purchase seats at those levels.

Users reported on social media that ticket prices soared from as low as $40 from before the incident to the triple-digit price tags after the altercation.

Wow. Tickets have gone from $40 to $440!
It seems that everyone wants to hear what Rock has got to say about the incident, and they are betting that it has given him some potentially killer material.
I want to hear the material too, but I can wait for the Netflicks special.

I could watch a couple of millionaires slap each other silly all day. How about a cage match? Elon Musk v. Jeff Bezos? Chelsea Clinton v. Ivanka Trump? I'll make popcorn.

@Snode
I'd kick out a few bucks to watch that on pay per view.

I'm great at multi-tasking. I can waste time, be unproductive, and procrastinate all at the same time.
