Tulsi Reaches December Debate Donor Threshold, Works in Congress

It seems it was official yesterday that Tulsi reached the 200,000 unique donor threshold to qualify for the December debate!

Now, she only needs one additional poll at 4% or more to make the debate stage again. She already has one national poll and two from New Hampshire to that end. This might be more difficult than you think, however, as those polls must come from new news groups, and places like FOX, NBC, and ABC seem to be studiously avoiding polling New Hampshire where Tulsi would easily find another poll to qualify.

Meanwhile, in congress, Tulsi forges ahead with great legislation.

On Wednesday, a US House Panel approved a bill to take marijuana off the federal Controlled Substances Act, legalize cannabis, expunge federal convictions related to cannabis, set up a Cannabis Justice Office, and introduce a 5% federal sales tax on state-legal cannabis sales. Tulsi was a very vocal co-sponsor of the bill, and this is the first time the House has introduced something decriminalizing cannabis successfully.

I imagine this will now head to the full House for approval, where it is expected to pass, and then to the Senate (where who knows what will happen).

Also on Wednesday, Tulsi introduced legislation to withdraw US troops from guarding Syrian oilfields, saying:

Our troops put their lives on the line to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and ensure the safety and security of the American people. President Trump’s deployment of US troops to secure Syrian oil fields that do not belong to us, with talks of welcoming in private oil corporations to take the oil, is unconstitutional and a violation of International Law. Syria’s natural resources belong to the Syrian people. Congress must fulfill its Constitutional mandate and vote for this resolution to bring our troops home from Syria.

Good stuff!

will never come to a vote as no House member will want to go on record as voting "no".
Obviously, none but Tulsi will vote yes as all of them are imperialists. Both parties embrace pillage and plunder.

Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.

@earthling1 Introduced 8 days ago, and no one wants to touch it. Not even Ilhan Omar, who is on the Committee on Foreign Affairs, which is where it’s been sent.
