ISIS leader responsible for infamous execution of downed pilot who was burned alive in a cage is captured

The ISIS commander behind the brutal execution of a Jordanian pilot who was burned to death in a cage in 2015 is among the four senior ISIS leaders captured last week in Iraq.

Saddam al-Jamal is one of the most senior ISIS commanders to be detained so far and was tipped as a future leader of the death cult.

Al-Jamal has been accused of a series of atrocities, including taking part in a massacre in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor in 2014 which killed 700 members of a tribe that rose up against ISIS.

He had previously been a commander in the Free Syrian Army and then leader of a western-allied 'moderate' Islamist group called Ahfab al-Rasoul.

Ya know, if someone held a new Nuremberg trial again

some day, we'd have quite a lot of people sitting in the docks. The things that we get away with are just as insidious as those who were found guilty during the trials.

This goes for the same in this country. If we put people on trial for war crimes then we'd see every one who armed and funded the people that were our enemies. I think this is called treason. John McCain met with so many members of AL Qaida, some of the ones who attacked our troops during the Iraq war. That the military is asking our troops to train the groups that killed their friends is very fiendish in my opinion.

The White Helmets are held up as stand up men who risk their lives saving others, but they are reprehensible creatures. They put civilians in cages to protect themselves from being attacked. Then there's that time one of them beheaded that 12 year old boy. But hey, they won an oscar for their videography, so there's that.
