OT ~ Welcome to Saturday!

Sit-a-while
on swinging porch
where tin-dippers and
sweet water
in cool touches
meet lips
from hand dug wells.

Good morning good people!

Prague, blackdrops and bridges, missiles bursting, tumbling through receptors needing caffeine ignored by blue-white risings over the mountains, the oldest mountains.

Afraid to bud, trees stand tall in still wind. Birds sing and tweet harmlessly, old harmonies as the groundhog grows invisible in stillness; darting a few feet and invisible again.

A chill air clears smoke in Damascus, wondering why...

"the coffee cup, i think about you."

G-hog darts again, eating from a platter washed by the white-tipped brook talking to me below.

This chill cleans the night's fright; foolishly, a thought comes of capturing this good wind and pouring it into courtroom windows of the world.

May this wind steam from your morning cup, friends, giving rise to a beautiful day.

“A day spent without the sight or sound of beauty, the contemplation of mystery, or the search of truth is a poverty-stricken day; and a succession of such days is fatal to human life.”
~ Lewis Mumford

about the inclement weather
@smiley7
but we're kinda in the same lame
boat, sinking faster than we can bail it out.
Winter just will not leave. Sad
If you need any help with the tech let me know.
Maybe we can co-host a pod or two. Smile

Dense fog, especially in the hills, an intermittent wiper kinda day. I expect dinosaur footprints in the mud. Only squirrels are peering in.

I hate the leadership of this invasive country.

Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
~ Carl Sandburg

"intermittent wiper kinda day," love the description, riverlover, perfect. Smile

The quality of friendship matters.

We have dogs protecting us from the fog of war, here; wisdom earned. Good place.

Patience, smooth, long-tongued CT abounds growing obvious when one's writing puts others down.

Having ventured thus far in a slice, a vignette: the pursuit of soap opera wastes time and our platform, c99%: the people next door at the store, on the roads, in the schools, nursing homes and fields, living here.

Peace
