Why No Investigation Into FBI, Justice Dept. Collusion With Democrats To Spy On Trump? Turns Out, There Is One

Some of us were just talking about this the other day.

Why No Investigation Into FBI, Justice Dept. Collusion With Democrats To Spy On Trump? Turns Out, There Is One

Russia Scandal: For weeks, official Washington and many voters have wondered: Why has there been no official investigation of the Justice Department and the FBI for their apparent misconduct in applying to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) to spy on the Trump campaign in 2016? Now we know: Quietly, an investigation has already begun.

The question has grown in importance in recent days as Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and Bob Goodlatte, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, released a letter they sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Tuesday urgently seeking an investigation.

They cited a long list of possible abuses: "There is evidence of bias, trending toward animus, among those charged with investigating serious cases. There is evidence political opposition research was used in court filings. There is evidence this political opposition research was neither vetted before it was used nor fully revealed to the relevant tribunal."

We'd also hope that the investigation will look at the roles played by former high-level FBI official James Strzok and Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, both Hillary Clinton supporters, who played a major role in having possible charges dropped against Clinton for her clearly illegal use of an unsecured email server, and who apparently were incurious about Clinton's earlier role in delivering control over 20% of the U.S. domestic uranium supply to a Russian government-owned company, Rosatom. Officials linked to that deal gave the Clinton Family Foundation $145 million.

Russian collusion, anyone?

Maybe The Clinton Creature might want to quit pissing people off. She just might be needing all the friends she can scrape together soon. Maybe she might consider shutting her mouth before Dims running for office are forced to publicly abandon her like they’re starting to do to Grandma Pelosi. Maybe the DNC will be taken down with her. Maybe someone will look into the family slush fund. Maybe this will get this damn family out of our faces forever,

One can only hope.

More importantly, it's long past time for it. She used the power of the intelligence agencies to spy on her political opponent to find dirt on him. Her supporters continue to say that he met with the Russian lawyer to get dirt on him, so if it was wrong for him to do it, it's just as bad for her too. Goose and Gander.

Any of these allegations, if true, are enough to fatally taint the ongoing investigation, now spearheaded by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and possibly even lead to criminal charges.

"I have appointed a person outside of Washington, many years in the Department of Justice, to look at all the allegations that the House Judiciary Committee members sent to us and we're conducting that investigation," Sessions said in an interview Wednesday.

What's surprising is how quiet it's been. Why is this investigation, which in our opinion is far more important than the ongoing marathon investigation of the Trump campaign for alleged "collusion" with Russia, being conducted on such a low-key level?

This might not be all that's in the pipeline, either. Fun rumors abound about other investigations that might be happening.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

The number of sealed indictments is anywhere between 1300 and 13000 (take your pick). Even the lower number is unprecedented in DoJ history where the annual average is 80. There is plenty of crap available to empty at least half of the Politburo, including Repubbies. However the Dims were so open about their cheating, they didn't care if they were sloppy--the revenge of Sloppy Bear. Because HER was gonna win, dammit! The Repubbies were more covert with their filth because they expected Trump to lose.

If you got **it in politics--don't flaunt it.

to deregulate the banks - again. He said, "the senators from the states that Trump won, voted with the Republicans". I didn't realize that, but I'm sure Bernie is right. Why wouldn't he be?

I am so pissed at Peters and Stabenow that I now have to vote against her this November. This strategy of throwing Democrats under the bus to win some mystical Republican is stupid. Republicans, Democrats, Independents - they all hate the fucking banks.
