Thanks for putting some facts to it. This is the same crap they’ve been peddling for, well, a long time. It’s always “don’t worry about the Democrats, the Republicans are in far worse shape!” But come Election time, this always proves to be false.

If any of these bubble creatures would spend some time in Trump country, they’d quickly see how wrong they are. Yeah, a general cynicism about the government exists, and rightfully so. But, at least judging by what I’m seeing, as long as the Republicans at least pay lip service to the concerns of the base, they will never be as bad off as the Dems who can’t even be bothered to hide their contempt anymore.

You gotta wonder how many times they’re going to keep trying to sell this story before someone kills it. (I know, we’re dealing with people paid not to get it, so I’m not holding any hope.)
