In my Inbox this fine day

This morning I took a quick run through my inbox to trash everything I could be sure I would not read or act upon. There I found an e-mail from this sender
service@paypal.com sayin, among other things:
You sent an automatic payment to Caucus99percent.com Administrator.

I have to say that made my whole morning. Sadly, one can no longer use paypal to set up these automatic monthly payments, but it is still possibly, in many other ways, to throw a little coin into the hopper that keeps this place running.

I know it brightens my day each time I get one of those notes, so maybe you might pick today to give yourself a similar boost - trust me - it works.

Oh yeah, the upper left hand corner of the page has buttons and all other good stuff. The sanity coefficient of the intertubes thanks you.

but let me make one correction:

While this is true as it pertains to making monthly donations using the "Donate" button, monthly contributions can still be created by using the "Subscribe" button. For whatever reason PayPal did away with the ability to make recurring donations by using the "Donate" feature but it can still be done using the "Subscribe" button. (Sorry for the redundancy) It was a PITA to set up but there it is.

Thanks to all that have or will contribute to the effort to keep the c99p lights on. We are a people powered site void of any corporate influence. We are proud of that fact and wish to keep it that way.

best to remember to incorporate that in any future panhandling I undertake. This was, for real, a spur of the moment inspiration and I just sort of put it out there.
