It is a very nice place
with a variety of viewpoints, and mods that are fair.
I read the BNR at TOP, read the comments to support don Midwest and LoneStarMike, but it is getting tougher to take. What used to be funny, such as Bob Johnson and Thumb, now just causes hate-filled comments.
I receive kosmail occasionally, so I am not going out of my way to be banned, I have to be very careful, and it is not enjoyable to have my opinion so disrespected.

for the accuracy of all of this, but ran across Kos' homophobic rant a couple of years ago and got this when I tried to find it again. It may have been written by a rightwing homophobe or nutcase [reading it now, perhaps not created by a rightwinger], but some of it is accurate. I haven't read it all yet anyway. It's interesting though, imo.

Not trying to smear Kos. He's taken care of that all by himself. I just think people should know who Kos was and probably mostly still is. Sure, he's the owner of, nominally, liberal DKos, and he built it, but he almost always came across as a punk to me, and punks tend to be rightwingers, unless you are talking about punk rockers like the Sex Pistols.
I also just wonder, if these things are true, and people knew about them, then what the heck were they doing supporting Kos all these years?
