Has there been any one thing this century more divisive in this country than the President of the United States? From Bush to Obama to Trump, has anything divided the country more than having them as the singular head of 330 million people?
If you believe that it doesn't matter who is president and that Trump is just a byproduct of what came before him, why would you want to continue the practice of electing a president?

At around 8am on Saturday morning, Hawaii's emergency alert system sent out a shocking tweet: "Ballistic Missile threat inbound to Hawaii. Seek Immediate shelter, This is not a drill."
The emergncy alert was sent to all Hawaiian cellphones...

Strauss opens by noting that as Bandy Lee is also a practicing neurologist, and Marxist femininst, the book had caught his eye. He’d hoped that given how oblivious psychiatry and psychology have been to the role that capitalism plays in mental illness, Lee’s compilation might have done better. There's been a lot of talk from the farther left that Trump is a symptom and not the disease. That he is simply the next step in this unfortunate reality we face, an in your face representation of what this country has devolved into and that we should not focus on him like the democratic party is doing but on the bigger picture.
Sam's Club is a wholly owned subsidiary of Walmart, and it is named after Walmart founder Sam Walton. According to Business Insider, many of the company's employees didn't know they had lost their jobs until they showed up for work Thursday morning.
Well isn't that interesting. Walmart made a very boastful and public announcement about raising wages:
