You watch, the Dims are so stupid they'll figure that Trump can even make the Clinton creature look good. She thanks 'Donna and the DNC leadership' for their work but not Sanders, and he's been her biggest supporter. That's gratitude for ya.
I imagine that since they have nothing left to sell the family will soon need to find a way to get back in power. How else will they get 225,000 to 500,000 dollar or more for an hour's talk? Their cash stream has been cut off. How can your kid pay for things like multi-million dollar weddings if the slush fund has been shut down?

What the Dems need to do to recover the post-WWII glory days is simple and easy to understand, but they refuse to do it.
They need to kick all the Turd Wayers and DLC types out and send them back to the GOP where they belong. This goes quadruple for still/ever Goldwater Girl Hillary Rodham Clinton and her little Florida sidekick Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Then, they need to go full hell-for-leather, nationwide down to each and every precinct, on a Renewed Deal for the ordinary American worker. When I looked at the speakers list for the Women's March, at least four of the speakers back stabbed Bernie big time in primaries (I did not check out the other speakers). Steinmen slut-shamed young woman Sander supporters. After that remark she should be permanently banned to speak on any issue regarding women. Union leaders for the SEIU and Teachers endorsed Hillary during the primaries without going to their membership and even lied about it. And Ceclia Richards of Planned Parenthood who without historical precedence for the group endorsed a presidential primary candidate--there was absolutely no compelling reason to do this in terms of support for Planned Parenthood. And then putting up DWS on the podium for all to see with Harris.

running the DNC. I don't understand how losing over 1,200 democratic seats as well as all the state's governorships could possibly be considered doing a good job. Unless that is what the plan was all along.
It gave Obama the cover he needed to not be able to pass his legislation and now that the republicans hold all 3 branches of government and the democrats are helpless to stop them Trump can put people in charge of the departments to destroy them.
If they are able to do that then the corporations will never be held accountable again. It's not like they weren't able to commit economic and environmental crimes before, but they at least had some to pay some fines when they blatantly broke the law.

It may be for the best for Perez to win. While the corporate centrists are all clamoring how Perez is awesome, both candidates are awesome why are we fighting, Perez is better cause Clinton and not stupid Bernie Bros, and we need good ideas not radical leftism (which is all garbage)...when Perez wins (which he probably will), that will help cause more people to leave the barely alive Dem party.

Let surrogates emphasize the horrors of her rival/opponent. Characterize the opposition to her rival as some kind of freedom movement, champions of the victimized and the oppressed, even though she herself has done damage to those same oppressed. But it doesn't matter, because she's (mostly) off camera and off stage and she can count on a lot of people, even those not being paid by her, to make the case that her opponent is so very evil that nothing else matters.
But Election Day has come and gone and so people can't see it. They automatically switch to focusing on opposing the winner, as if occupying the Oval Office is the only, or even the primary, way that people get power around here. As if Hillary Clinton's power derives solely from her holding electoral office, when I think she's only held electoral office for six years of her entire career.

This is why I disagree with your essay, 'Gator Ed. I didn't want to have the argument again and I didn't want to come into your essay and be a shit. But if you think the anti-Trump movement is not part of Hillary 2016/2020, you're not seeing clearly. Are there sincere people in the movement who don't mean it that way? Sure. There were sincere people in the Tea Party movement who were upset that Wall St defrauded them and Obama patted the bankers on the bank and told 'em he'd look out for them, too. The issue isn't whether there are some good, decent people in a movement, but who's running it and who is positioned to take advantage of it.
Hillary 2016 never ended. It never will end until she gets what she wants. The only reason she backed off in '08 is that Barack had some Wall St backers of his own, so she agreed to wait 8 years. And she seems to feel everybody owes her deep gratitude for that leniency.

I expect we will be, sooner or later, barring the nuke thing. The US military has been working on military robots for some time and Google's working toward the singularity as well as buying up robotic and AI (always makes me think of Artificial Insemination, lol,) companies like hot-cakes, not to mention hiring someone from DARPA who worked on Big Dog.
If they're feeling whimsical, they may send police and other forces out something similar to the Dalek (have seen pics of one sorta like that shape brought out for positive publicity) for amusement. Theirs, not ours, of course. Assuming that they still feel they need human police and other forces, which would seem unlikely in such an event. And that the roads are still nice and flat. There are other, far more suitable-for-killing-machines designs already being produced, of course, such as Big Dog itself.
